After a long exhausting day in the office, Mikaeel reached home finally. Now, he just wants to have dinner and sleep. Obviously, after fucking her. It has become a habit of his. He can't close his eyes without inhaling the intoxicating scent of her body.

Entering the bedroom he expected her to be waiting for him just like every other day but unexpectedly she was nowhere to be seen. He didn't bother too much and thought that she might be with Ziya.

Walking towards the mirror he started loosening his tie when Aurin entered the room. He looked at her through the mirror and found her already looking at him with an emotionless face. He suspected that something is wrong with her but didn't pay any attention.

" Abbu was talking about Miraz's marriage. He told me that he has found the perfect girl for Miraz. Tomorrow we are going to meet the girl's family. Would you join us or do you want to stay with Ziya?" Questioning her, he started unbuttoning his shirt looking at the mirror.

A moment passed and he waited for her response. But, when he didn't hear a single word from her he turned behind and found her standing like a statue. Her whole face was blank like she has seen a ghost.

" I asked you something," he said and this time his voice was rough & loud.

Looking directly into his eyes she questioned," Did you have any past relationships?"

Mikaeel was taken aback by her question and a thin line of confusion yet suspicion appeared on his forehead. Scanning her face properly he realized the seriousness in her and frowned his brows.

" Suddenly why are you asking me this question?" He questioned back and Aurin fisted her hands.

Controlling her anger she said calmly," Just answer in yes or no."

Hearing her Mikaeel was silent for some time. He realised that she might have heard something about his ex-girlfriend. Otherwise, she wouldn't be asking him such questions right now. He fell into a dilemma thinking about what he should answer.

After thinking for some time he lied," No."

" So, I am your first love and only woman in your life?" Aurin again asked suppressing the outburst with great difficulty.

Mikaeel shouted at her getting irritated," Would you stop asking me ridiculous questions? What do you mean by first love, only woman blah blah blah? Huh! I am exhausted and want to sleep. Don't annoy me with such absurd questions."

" I didn't ask a very difficult question," Aurin replied clutching the hem of her dress tightly.

Rolling his eyes Mikaeel said loudly," Yes, you are the only woman in my life. Happy, now?"

Saying that he forwarded his legs towards the washroom while Aurin was rooted in her place. She didn't say anything nor did she reacts. She was looking way too calm but only she can feel the storm that was ruining everything in her.

Aurin was startled a little hearing him shutting the washroom door loudly. And, the next moment bursting into tears she fell on her knees. Hugging her legs tightly she continued sobbing nonstop.

Is she hurt knowing that Mikaeel has a past relationship? Yes, she is. But, she is devastated by his straight-up lie. She isn't an immature teenager who will shed tears and judge her partner over a past relationship.

But, the problem is with his lies. He should have shared the truth with her because as a wife she deserves to know everything about her husband. He should have opened up to her about his past. Even if he wasn't comfortable then at least he should have said the truth and convinced her that he isn't comfortable sharing everything now. She would have understood or at least tried to understand his situation but one lie of him devastated everything. By telling such lie he has created a great crack in the trust she used to have in him.
