Chapter-8

Aurin's pov

" Baba!" I uttered with extreme shock seeing my father right in front of my eyes.

It's been one month since I met my father and talked to him. After that incident, he kinda forgot me or I can say he was angry with me. He was so angry that he didn't bother to call me at least.

As a daughter, I missed him a lot and craved to talk to him. I didn't keep his harsh words in my heart and wanted to apologize. I know there wasn't any fault of mine but still, I wanted to apologise because I respect him a lot. No matter what I will love my father always.

Walking towards the bed he sat in front of me and said affectionately," Freshen up. I need to talk to you."

" Baba, when did....... I mean how...." I wasn't understanding what exactly I should ask him.

He answered smiling," My son in law brought me here."

This time my eyes fell on my husband who was standing at the door leaning a little bit on it. The moment our eyes met he winked at me and I diverted my eyes from him. My cheeks heated up and I looked down.

" Go, dear. I will wait for you here," Baba said and I obliged him without any delay.

After freshening up and having breakfast I and Baba are now sitting on the bed face to face. I was looking down and I am sure baba was looking at me. Both of us were silent.

Suddenly, breaking the silence Baba asked softly," Are you angry with me?"

" No," I said shortly.

Baba held my hands and apologized," I am sorry, dear. I was very harsh with you. I shouldn't have talked to you like that."

Hearing him, I couldn't control my emotions and hugged him tightly. Burying my head into his chest I burst into tears and he wrapped his hands around me very protectively.

" How could.......how could....you......keep........your anger...on me......didn't you miss your.....Auro?" I questioned hiccupping.

He stroked my hair gently and replied emotionally," I missed my Auro a lot. My anger wasn't letting me talk to you. Dear, I know I have acted very harshly with you. But, trust me dear whatever I have done, I did it for your well being."

" Why didn't you understand my feelings?" I asked sobbing.

He responded trying to console me," Dear, in a relationship it takes time to understand each other and accept each other. Mine was also an arranged marriage and your mom & I had to sacrifice a lot for our relationship. We were patient with each other and eventually fell in love. Our life was fulfilled when you and your sisters were born. It's been 24 years since we are together after overcoming a lot of storms in our life. So, I am telling you to be patient because, in my opinion, you have judged Mikaeel very early. I can assure you that I have chosen the right man for you."

" I understand, Baba," I said meekly.

Then, he said chuckling," I would still be angry with you if Mikaeel didn't call me and told me that I was wrong."

Looking at his face I asked him creasing my brows," He told you to apologise to me. That means you didn..................."

" I apologised to you from my heart not because Mikaeel requested me. He just showed me where I was wrong. He loves you and cares for you. That's why he convinced me to come here. He told me that he doesn't want to see you upset," He said and I didn't say anything further.

After that, I & Baba spent some time together and trust me I was very overwhelmed after meeting him. I am glad that the problem between us is sorted out now. But, someone has to answer me some questions.
