Aurin's mother Zaynep was cooking lunch when someone rang the doorbell. She thought to open the door after taking out the Daal(lentils) from the stove. But, the person at the door was impatient and kept ringing the doorbell nonstop.
" Coming.......coming.........Are you going to break the doorbell..........." Zeynep mumbled running towards the door and the moment she opened the door her eyes widened with astonishment.
She literally yelled," Aurin!!!"
Aurin's arrival was too much surprising for Zeynap since Aurin didn't notify her that she is coming. Zeynap was more surprised after noticing Aurin alone.
" How are you, Ammi?" Aurin questioned meekly when Zeynep just hummed since she was busy searching for someone else.
Aurin followed her mother's eyes which were looking behind her in search of someone particular. Aurin isn't a child that she won't understand whom her mother was searching for. She tightened her hold on the suitcase handle and controlled her emotions. Her mother noticed the suitcase with her and seeing her red eyes, she doubted something.
" You came alone?" Zeynep asked and Aurin just hummed looking down.
Zeynep said taking the suitcase handle in her hand," I would be happier if you came with Mikaeel."
" Ain't my presence enough to make you happier? Should I leave?" Aurin questioned with her pissed off voice and Zeynap was disgruntled by her response.
Aurin expected her mother to understand her emotional turmoil but seeing Zeynap's face she realised that she was a fool to think like that. Her mother wasn't happy seeing her without Mikaeel.
" Come in, "Zeynap answered very plainly and Aurin was again hurt.
But, she didn't show sadness on her face since nobody was caring about her feelings. She realized that she has to go through all this alone. Excepting support from her family members will also be another foolishness.
" I am feeling like I have entered a stranger's house," Aurin mumbled seeing her mother's cold behaviour.
The moment Aurin entered her room Zeynap started questioning impatiently," What happened, Aurin? Did you fight with Mikaeel? A few days ago you said everything is fine between you and Mikaeel than what happened suddenly? Why did you return alone?"
Aurin wasn't surprised by her mother's questions because she was expecting all these questions. She wasn't bothered by her mother's questions but Zeynap's careless attitude towards her hurt her more. She doesn't know how can her mother ignore the sadness in her eyes.
" I left him," Aurin said and Zeynap's eyes widened like they will come out of her sockets any time soon.
Zeynap yelled shockingly," What? Why?"
" I can't live with a man who has zero respect for me. Don't ask me anything further, please. I am not in the state to explain," Aurin answered looking distressed and started taking out her clothes from the suitcase.
Walking towards Aurin, Zeynap rested one hand over Aurin's shoulder and asked softly," So, you had a fight with your husband?"
Aurin kept her mouth mum when Zeynap started explaining," Dear, it's normal to have argument in a relationship. That doesn't mean you will leave your husband's house. As a woman, you have to be patient and tolerable. You shouldn't take decisions hastily. You have to keep in mind that your hasty decisions will..................."
" So you want me to stay with an abusive man and kept tolerating everything by zipping my mouth like a mute?"Aurin questioned furiously and angry tears started flowing from her eyes.
