I spent the whole week after the disaster in my room, eating ice cubes, which was weird, but they'd always made me feel better, they were like, my secret medicine. (Lol) well, they were my comfort food and i sat there chomping down on them. Oh, and katelyn was avoiding me. After yesterday, that was pretty obvious, here's what happened:
I walked into starbucks with my parents. As we were waiting in line, I noticed a few things about the girl standing in front of us.
Oh she has the same flip-flops as Katelyn! Wait... And the same shirt, and hair, and and backpack, and, KATELYN!!!
I tapped her on the shoulder,
She turned, and panic seized her eyes.
She frantically hissed something in her moms ear, and her mom blinked once or twice
"But Katelyn, we haven't got our stuff yet, or paid them ye-"
It looked like she had said,
Man! I'm getting a whole lot better at lipreading! And without finishing the sentence, Katelyn started dragging her irritated mom away. I started to push past customers, yelling random noises, since I couldn't make any words yet. a few of them looked annoyed, and as I passed, I shot apologetic glances their way.
Why is she running!?!
I quickly ran out, and caught a glance of Katelyn pulling her mom towards the car.
I ran up and grabbed her sleeve, but she yanked it away, climbed into the beige minivan, and drove away, leaving me in the dust.
