Ok, so since I wasn't getting any comments or votes (come onnn!) I decided just to move on.

I listened to my fist banging on Katelyns door, but at first there was no answer. so I started to drift off into my own happy world. I started to daydream, and what i saw scared me; I was sitting at the "popular" table at my old school, where the biggest snobs of this century owned during lunch. Katelyn sitting with some other girl in the corner, looking really happy while having a conversation with her. I walked over and hot jealousy boiled inside me. then I saw something that made the color drain out of my face, a poster that said: vote for me for 2010 school president!!!
2010?!?! That was 5 years ago!!! I quickly took out my phone, which said: October 16, 2010. WHAT?!! that meant that it was my birthday here, but that's impossible. I was at school for my birthday... like every year since kindergarten!!! But then... Who was this other girl sitting with Katelyn? And then I noticed how happy and joyful she looked, and it made my heart ache as I realized why. This was how she had acted with me until i went deaf.
If Katelyn hadn't decided to stay with me through this, she might still have that happy look on her face, but she didn't. Nowadays, she looked like she was trying to be happy, but only for my sake. If I hadn't been in her life, then she might me happy with this other girl, she might have a better friend.
And then I was brought back to reality as Katelyns mom answered the door, and I couldn't face it. I swung around and ran back to my house, sobbing all the way. why did everybody's unhappiness have to be my fault?
