Amity's POV
Sitting in luz's arms while me, her, willow and gus are playing hexes holdem which I don't understand but somehow Luz does by watching eda play it all the time "YES I won't ha in your faces!" Gus happily yelled making willow pout and luz groan in fustrasion "how have you won all five games?!" Luz complained while I'm holding a card awkwardly not knowing what I'm suppost to be doing but I didn't care I was enjoying myself in my girlfriend's arms which I've wanted to do for so long and seeing gus, willow and luz argue over a small thing like a game brought a smile to my lips 'I wouldn't trade this moment for anything'
I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard a sudden voice " Amity Blight, come home now have you forgotten your suppost to be helping your father with the abominations?" My hand went straight to my necklace where my mother's voice came from 'oh shoot I forgot!' I slightly panicked and quickly pounced up out of luz's arms making her yelp in surprise by my sudden movement "amity what's wrong?" Luz asked concerned while gus and willow stopped arguing and looked at me "i-i just remembered I have to help my father with something" I struggled putting my shoes on "what? Are you going to get into trouble cause your late?" Willow asked without me thinking about what I was going to say I blurted "no no i-im not late it's just I remembered my self" i lied in an instinct without even thinking 'must of be a force of habit'
"So s-should get going before I do end up being late" I said finished getting my shoes on "do you want me to walk you home?" Luz suddenly asked sitting up making me remember the 'incident' that happened with luz last time
FLASHBACK
"And more important of all, who's is that's?"father questioned making me confused "what?" I ask raising an eyebrow at him that made father unhappy as his brows knitted together more than it already has if that's possible "YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!" his sudden burst made me flinch but I looked to realized what he was meaning as I have noticed I'm wearing luz's blazer still 'I FORGOT TO GIVE IT BACK' at this moment my thoughts were tumbling everywhere " oh this..Uh...it's mine" I lied for the first time infront of my parents which they knew straight away "I don't remember you leaving with a blazer" mother stated 'of course she would record that' "So...Who's. Is.its" father said sternly gazing into my soul "it's just a friends technically did not lie but that just made mother eye me "What friend?" She asks 'Crap' I hesitate to ask to scared to lie but also to scared to tell the truth but then there was a sudden bang making me jump and to see father slammed his hand on the shoe stand looking furious "ANWER HER!"he yelled, I looked to the ground "it's....luz's" I truthly said ready for the worst to happen which it did as I felt a wash of agony hit me in the eye making me fall to the ground, father snatched the blazer off me and burnt it "edric, emira!" Mother called for them making them come down the stairs and shares shockingly at the side "y-yes mother?" Emits stuttered "be wee angles and lock amity in her room for the rest of the night" she told the twins making them instantly come to my aid "yes mother" edric said as him and emira helped me up the stairs and aided to my eye without our parents knowing.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Amity?"I felt a hand gently touch me and brining me out of my thoughts with a flinch "w-what?" I asked while luz looks at me worried "are you okay? I asked if you wanted me to walk you home?" Luz repeated making me shake my head quickly, my parents despise luz I can't let her walk me home " no no I'll be okay" I say to her "you sure?" Luz she asked to just make sure but as stubborn as I am I nodded "I'm sure" luz read my face for a moment before complying "okay...I'll walk you to the door then" she says
"If something happens I want you to text me right away" luz tells me in a serious tone making me smile at her concern "I promise" i say to her to ease her worries and pecked her cheek "I'll see you at school tomorrow ok?" I say to her which she smiled "ok" with that I took my leave to the hell hole I call home
I slowly opened the door to the blight manor to seemingly see it's dark and feels empty but it again it always feels like that 'where is everyone?' I headed to the basement since I know that's where father would be and I was right he was but edric was also there? "Edric?" I questioned grabbing both of their attentions " Amity glad you finally decided to show up" father said a bit harshly meaning I'm gonna be in trouble and edric giving me a sympathetic look "I should go now since mittens is here" with that edric walked past me patting my shoulder but before he could leave father called him making him stop in his tracks "yes father?"edric asked "don't forget you and emira have to help your mother" father explained making edric nod and headed out then father want back doing what he was doing"why are you late" he asks not looking at me 'make up an excuse' "uh I was at boshcas studying exchanging notes and stuff and I um must of lost track of time...I'm sorry father" I said hopefully he believes me as I was waiting for a response I was starting to swet but all of a response I got from him was a hum I took that as a win then he turned around I tossed something at me making me catch it "make that thing spotless and I might forgive you for your recent....incident" he said looking at my eye "yes father" I said then grabbing a cloth and started scrubbing "also...don't be late again or there will be conciquences" father said making me nervously shuffle "ok" I said back
Willow POV
I watched as luz pasted back and forth holding her scroll in her hand nervously after sending a message to amity which she has not replied "Luz relax she's probably busy with something to answer" I explained trying to ease her worries but of course as stubborn as luz can be it never worked "Yeah she did say she did have to help her dad with something" gus also tried to reassured and this time it worked as she stopped paissing and look at us
"I know i know but what if she did end up being late and got....In trouble or I don't know" luz was stressing herself over probably nothing "Luz...amity did say she would text you if something did happen right? Promised even so why not come and sit with us and finish this game with us" I said and luz complied as she did sit slumpy next to us
