"Your leaving?" King asked as we announced the news to them that luz is leaving to go to the human realn
"Noooooo you can't leave me here all alone!" King cried as he jumped into luz's lap
"Luz NoOoOoOo" hooty also cried rapping his body around her
"I know I don't want to leave yous either but ive got to" luz also cried, I watched as the 3 of them weeped
"I don't want her to go either but its
Not like she's going to be going away forever" I said grabbing their attentions
'Things would be weird without her even if it's a just for a few months' then they went back to crying so I decided to join them
Amity (pov)
Edric and emira just stared at me with mouths open "hahaha ha nice joke sis!" Edric laughed I just gave him a look that says 'do I look like the type of person who would make jokes'
"Your being serious..." emira asked breaking edric from his laughing fit "your not pranking us right?" Edric added
"Why would I prank your guys about this?" I said frustrated, they just stared at me like I'm a blimming ghost
"Can yous stop staring at me please, yes I'm going to the human realm with luz for a couple of months ok?" I say starting to get impatient with them
"Wow you really aren't lying" edric said I just glared at him "mittens are you sure about this? Leaving school behind, your friends,mum and dad" I winced when emira said mum and dad "us?!" Edric added pushing emira away while 'crying?' "yes I know that I'll be leaving school behind but luz thinks it's for the best" after I said that edric and emira looked at me confused which confused me
"Best for what?" Edric asked then I realised what I said "oh...oh you know to take a break from school and all" I terribly lied they can probably see the sweat dripping down my forehead
It never fooled them, the twins can always see though me that's the worse I hate about both of them
"I'm not following" edric said blankly "that's not the real reason why your going is it" emira said not even a question I went silent only nervousness can be heard from my breath as I struggled to tell the truth i then felt a hand on my shoulders
"Come on mittens you can tell us anything " emira said sitting beside me then joined by edric
"The...the real reason why...why im going is..b-because.." 'crap why is this so hard?' "Take your time you can tell us" emira comforted with edric nodding beside her, so I breathed in then out "okay...."
I took a moment while my siblings waited patiently for my answer "the real reason why I'm going to the human realm is because of....mum and dad!" I never ment to blurt it out like that so glad mum and dad are out right now
I opened my eyes not realised I closed them to see confusion writing on their faces...again "what do you mean..because of mum and dad?" Edric questioned, i guess I wasn't being specific
"They've been..extra hard on me the last few days" I said which made edric scoff "they're always like that" he said until emira butted in "she does have a point they have been more harsh on her with school recently you even said it yourself ed" i mentally faced palmed 'their so dense'
"But is it really that bad for you to move to a completely different dimension?" Edric asked I shook my head "no your missing the point!...they-they hit me!" I said in frustration which washed away when I saw their faces after I said that
