Luz POV
after hearing amity's dad, amity waisted no time in pushing me into the closet 'ha I've already came out' but in all seriousness I can see amity trembling between the cracks of the door makes me grit my teeth
"F-father?" Amity stuttered as her dad entered the room
Amity's POV
"Who were you talking to?"he asks, I silently gulp
"Oh myself it's a nervous habit, i was studying" I lied griping the end of my shirt he gave me a questionable look then he heads over to my window I took that chance to grab my ripped up notebook and kick it under my bed
"What noise did I hear earlier?" He asks staring out the window thank God so he doesn't see the sweat dripping down my forehead
"Oh you mean when edric and emiras were in here being annoying ignorants like usual" I slowly grumbled at them from the other room when he never said anything It made me shuffle under his gaze he was about to say something until Luz made a noise in the waredrobe like knocking something over
'No Luz?!' I started planning my funeral in my head, father started I approach the wardrobe instantly making me panic as he was about to open it that was until we heard the front door open meaning mother was back 'great'
"That would be your mother with my stuff for more inventions, go help her, I need to have a conversation with your siblings about their lack of attendance at school" he commanded 'oh great in piece edric and emira'
"Yes father" with that he took his leave I let out a huge breathe that I never realised I kept in Luz took that as a sign to come out
"What we're you doing?! You nearly got caught!" I whisper yelled as my dad was down the hall in the twins room Luz just rubbed her neck
"Sorry it was very small in there and my clumsiness doesn't match it" she said I just shook my head
"Well I've got to go and help my mother or I won't hear the end of it, you've got to leave" I say pushing her to the window, she whisles for owlbert he comes turning into a staff in luz's hand
"I'll see you tomorrow amor" Luz says not knowing what that means but I nodded pecking her cheek
"AMIYTY" I heard mother yell
"Ok I've got to go" I say closing the window as I head down stairs
