Amity's POV
"I can't believe yous two, I need that to study!" I scolded my siblings who were messing about like usual and ended up ripping my notebook
"Calm down mittens, you need a break anyway" edric said
"Yeah you've been studien so hard lately give that brain a rest" emira added
Making me groan and glare at them "that's because mother told me to! And I don't want to get her on her bad side" I grumbled and started picking up the tiny pieces of paper
"Now out!" I commanded as I started pushing my siblings towards the door
"Come on mittens were worried"
"Come on amity don't be like this we just want to help" both of them exclaimed
"I don't need help!" I said as I successfully pushed them out of my room slamming the door behind me and sliding down it as I gaze at the ripped up pieces of my work on the floor 'mothers going to kill me, rest in pieces' I was immediately pulled out of my thoughts as a loud thump hitting my window startling me
"I swear if it's one of those nacktrapp birds again or them two I'm gonna-" I stopped mid sentence as I opened my curtains to see....luz?! To be handing on the edge of the window still with edas staff owl thing trying to pull her up as she was looking at me with a slug smile, I quickly open the window and dragged her in side before anyone saw her
"Luz?! What on boiling isles are you doing here" I ask her mainly out of fear in case my parents found out she's here
"What you not happy to see me?" She teases while dusting herself off
"N-no no I mean yes-just what if my parents see you, you'll be dead" I stuttered
"Well I'm here for a good reason" she defends "Better be" I say back while glaring at her for her stupidness
"Eda.....found a way to get you away from your parents" she says making me interested
"what do you mean get me away from here?" I ask her I have a million questions right now
"I mean what I mean, eda suggested it to me but...I-i wasn't completely about the idea but I would do anything for you" she said taking a hold of my hand making me blush
"Okay what is it?"I ask her she took a moment? To prepare to tell me kinds making me scared
"I'm taking you to the human realm for a while"she explained I took moment to process what she just said then it clicked
"WHAT?!"
Luz POV
just like I expected she freaks out, pacing back and forth blurting stuff like "are you insane"or "I can't just straight up and leave to another world, leaving school, and my siblings!"
I gently grabbed her shoulders to stop her but instead making her flinch in pain, I sigh and let go of her "this is the reason we have to go to the...human realm" I said gesturing to her probably bruised shoulder, she sighs, I gently hold her hands in mine
"I know you don't want to leave your...hometown and ditch school and your siblings but it won't be so bad I get to show you around and..You won't be alone" I say comforting while gazing into her golden eyes that I love, she looks hesitant she breathed
"Okay" she finally said making me smile and i pull her into a hug, now i think i am really excited to show her the human real but I still have to deal with my mum first
"Thank you luz" amity says hugging back i squeez her "anything for you batata" i gently say kissing her temple then suddenly we heard foot steps come towards the door
"Amity" a stern voice can be heard, amity was quick to act by pushing me into the closet 'ha I've already came out' but jokes a side the person that came in was....amity's dad I gulped.
