In the middle of a land covered by thick snow stands a strange building. This is (Name)'s current home. Miles away from human and plant life. It's also cold and lonely. Just how she likes it.
(Name) Hargreeves, one of the former member of a hero team called: The Umbrella Academy. She stands in front of her glass window, overlooking the white landscape.
The base she's in is one of her adoptive father's. She made it her own after asking him for it of course.
News plays on the background.
"Okay (Name), it's time to join society again and visit the old man."
The girl says to herself. She looks on the side to see the portrait of her adoptive family. It's been 2 years since she made contact with humans and 5 years since she's spoke to her whole family in person.
Things get ugly whenever they're together.
She looks at an old man's face: Reginald Hargreeves, (Name)'s adoptive father, who didn't act as one at all.
He was strict, neglecting, had anger issues, and hated children. But despite this, (Name) realize once she got older that she has him to thank for some things. She likes to think that she's more mature than the others.
"Okay, I'll go and do this. The old man better appreciate this... he should be the one fixing our relationship not me." She tells herself as she fixes her hair in the mirror. "But that's okay, I'll be the one to do it..."
(Name) often talks to herself as an effect of her social isolation. She used to just have conversations internal conversations but since she was alone she figured she can talk loudly all she wants now.
"Tonight, report just came and it says that the eccentric billionaire and founder of The Umbrella Academy, Reginald Hargreeves dies at 63." The news reporter says in the background.
(Name) is startled. "Well, shit." She still need answers from him.
