============

The 'little chat' turned into poking fun at each other and childish name-calling, which then morphed into talking about childhood games, which then led to some light drinking and attempting to play someone those childhood games, though there was more laughing done than anything.

Yeah, this is what Hinata needed.

When he woke up in the morning, he was in a better mood.

And though that mood dampened throughout the day, having to deal with other humans and such,  by the time it was time for work, he was a bit more compliant than the day before, agreeing to do the greeting right for everyone, but drew the line at that, because as he'd said the night before, some of Kinnoshita's Rules Of Maid Etiquette were dumb.

So his scowl from yesterday, was replaced by a slightly more palateable bored look, and if anyone didn't like it, the beautiful middle finger was happy to make an appearance.

So he got through the work day, not noticing how there were more cameras usually used for spotting suspicious activity pointed at him than usual.

And assumed it was business as usual when he was assingned to another table of four men.

Ushijima, Tendou, Iwaizumi, And Akaashi.

Unbeknownst to him of course.

"Hi!" Hinata smiled as he made it to the table and got their attention, "Welcome to the sunrise café," He threw up a cute heart with his fingers and winked subtly, "What would you like to drink today?"

And the smile dropped from his face with alarming speed. Why had he agreed to this again?

Don't make drunken promises kids.

His bored expression returned as he clutched his pen and note-pad to take their orders.

"Are you guys ready or what?" He asked, the sweet tone from the greeting no-where to be found. he didn't sound mean persay, but he didn't sound super excited to be there.

The three (Barring our loveable hot-cheeto) Nodded their heads in perfect sync, somewhat creeping out Hinata.

"Okay, that was weird, never do that again." He said flatly, Blinking a couple times. "Orders?"

Akaashi was first to speak up, "Yes, sorry, may i have a Vanilla cappuchino?"

"Mhm, next," Hinata barely looked up from writing the order.

Then came Iwaizumi who felt wildly out of place but said nothing on the matter.

It made sense to takeda so best to not question it.

"Um, a cafe latte?" He'd just glanced at the menu. He'd spent most of the time they were seated, trying to figure out why he was there, and pointedly not looking at the waiters.

He felt a little out of place.

"Yep." Hinata moved on, but his eyes lingered on him a few extra seconds.

"Anyway, you?" Hiinata pointed his pen at Ushijima. "Small coffee, black, light sugar. A lemon tart as well. Thank you."

"Alright, and you?"

Tendou.

Akaashi had been watching all the interactions carfully, but felt he needed to pay even mor attention with Tendou.

Akaashi's purpose was clear. Get informaton. watch closely, record hinata's reactions and evaluate. That was his job.

But Tendou was a bit of a variable, even for him. He needed to make sure he didn't react to be able to fully monitor hinata's reactions, and Tendou could also say something that wouldn't be helpful to the siutation.

Clearly, Tendou's not fully rougue, but he has his moments. And he's not very predictable.

So it still is somewhat odd, even for Ushijima when he orders an americano calmly, none of the sing-songiness that is practically always there with Tendou's interactions.

And even when Tendou suddenly states before hinata could leave,"Can i have your number?" Tendou said, oddly blunt and surprisingly calmly, and his voice held no ulterior motives. Just ignore the way his eyes trailed up and down hinata's body.

This. This was odd.

This was very odd. Who was this man and what did he do to tendou.

Hinata was tempted to decline, but seemed amused by the question, "I guess we'll have to wait and see how i'm feeling in the next five minutes." And said no more on the, matter as he turned to leave.

That was the fastest anyone had every] asked that the entire time he'd worked there, and it kind of caught him off gaurd. Most of the time (All of the time) The answer would be no, but there was something about Tendou. Something different about Tendou.

Something off about tendou.

Hinata wasn't sure what that was, but he was willing to find out. But something was different about him, he could tell, this was not the average customer at this kind of café, or person in general.

But maybe he was reading too far into things.

Akaashi could see the gears turning in hinata's head right until he turned away. He knew right then they were dealing with an intelligent, and probably strong willed person.

And he's have it no other way.

Not much talk was made, the quartet being an odd combination to start with. Akaashi I his own mind, Tendou as well, though he looked a bit more uh....

Nevermind.

Ushijima never said a whole lot to begin with, at least not in this company, and Iwaizumi still didn't know why he was there.

Poor thing.

So it was pretty quiet when hinata returned with the tray fifteen minutes later.

"For you," Hinata handed Akaashi his cup and smiled ever so slightly, though it was gone in a heartbeat.

"And you over there," Hinata handed Iwaizumi his cup and paused, "Relax a bit 'kay?" He his words were reasuring but, he looked bored as ever. Iwaizumi nodded and thanked him anyway.

Though the heart hinata made in the foam made him smile.

Hinata looked at Tendou with a blank expression and said nothing as he passed him his drink.

"And for you mister formal." Hinata gave Ushijima his order as well.

"Enjoy!" Hinata made another heart and smiled, trading the smile for a subtle eye roll as he turned away. How did kinnoshita follow all those rules? He was having issues with just the one!

Tendou watched him go, but didn't look too upset about it, which made sense as he smirked as he saw writing on the cup

"Hey, us redheads gotta stick together, hm? 'xxx-xxx-xxxx' That and ur kinda cute. Text me if u want"

Tendou placed a hand on hs face a grinned as he sipped the drink. "Hehe, you have no idea~"
