"You nervous?" KJ asked Ximora as she drove to  some upscale restaurant.

"Hell yea, I haven't seen him in nineteen years.." Ximora said.

KJ nodded and stayed quiet as she texted Amir back.

"How you feel?" Ximora asked.

"I don't know.. I've never met him" KJ shrugged.

The two were on their way to meet up with their dad, he had been released from prison a week ago, and they agreed to meet with him.

KJ was a baby when he went to prison, and their mom never bothered to take them to visit or answer any calls. As they got older, the two still didn't get in contact with him, so she knew nothing about this man.

"Hi, reservations for Reed and Torres" Ximora spoke breaking KJ out of her daze.

"Oh yes, Mr. Reed is waiting for you guys" the hostess smiled.

As they followed the hostess to the table, KJ slowed down seeing a man that basically had her and Nazir's whole face.

Since Naz was born, people really believed that they were blood siblings because of how the uncanny resemblance.

"Mora" she mumbled.

"I know that's crazy" Ximora laughed as they made it to the table.

"Hi daddy" Ximora smiled.

He looked up from his phone and smiled.

"I can hug you?" He asked, she nodded and pulled him into a hug.

Ximora was eleven when he was arrested, but she still remembered his warm energy.

They pulled away from the hug then he turned to KJ and smiled wider.

"Hi, I'm Desmond" he said holding out his hand.

She ignored his hand causing Ximora to cut her eye at her.

"I thought your name was Chris.." KJ said.

He chuckled "It's Desmond but everyone called me Chris since I was little"

KJ nodded and shook his hand.

"Hmmm so you want me to call you Chris or Desmond?" She asked sitting down.

"Whatever you comfortable wit"

"So I'll call you Chris.. why you got arrested?" KJ asked.

"KJ..." Ximora said in a warning tone.

Chris shook his head and cleared his throat "She cool"

"I uh got arrested for drug trafficking" he told her.

"What happened?"

"I had a drug operation running from Miami to Europe and allat" He explained.

"Gahdamnn, sooo you got money?"

Chris laughed at her "I guess"

"What are you having?" He asked Ximora.

"Umm me and my husband want to wait to find out" she told him.

He smiled "I hope I can meet Jaelen and Naz soon"

"Same" Ximora smiled.

KJ rolled her eyes in annoyance of how accepting of him Ximora was.

"What are you getting Kamari?" He asked.

"I prefer KJ, but I'm not sure yet.." she replied.

"Can I make a suggestion KJ?"
