Quigley P.O.V

The sun beams shining from behind the mountains shone upon us. I looked back at Y/n, and she looked beautiful in the light. Her eyes glittered as she gazed into the beautiful view. I couldn't help but slowly start to crush on her. For some reason, she seemed familiar. Something from a good dream. Or... something from my past.

Since my parents died, it felt as if a piece of me has been missing. Like a puzzle piece.

I tore my gaze off of her before Y/n caught me staring. She looked back at me, sorrow hiding in her cheerful eyes.

"It's a beautiful view..." she said.

I looked back at her. "It certainly is." I didn't think, I didn't anything. My body just decided to lean in and kiss her cheek.

She looked back at me, speechless.

Did I make a mistake...?
