Jays POV

"Whatcha get," Cole asked looking over my shoulder trying to see the letter. I pull it away from his view. "Excuse me," I say frantically running into my room. I close my door and lock it with the letter in my hand. I open it not knowing what to expect. While I open it I get a paper cut "F*ck paper cuts hurt" I said sucking on my finger while it started to bleed. I finally open the letter without any trouble. Only I can have difficulty opening a note jeeze Jay I thought to myself. I took the letter out of the envelope and started to read the letter:

Dear Jay,

I recently have been thinking about you. Oh by the way I am your real father. I would really like to meet you in person sometime. My schedule is free and really want to get to know you. How about we meet at Ninjago Coffe downtown. Take your time to respond and I hope I will be seeing you soon.

Sincerely, Cliff

I finished reading it. A million thoughts are going through my head. Shut it brain let me think. Ever since I found out I was adopted I wanted to know more about my birth parents. This could be how I get answers. I'm hesitant for numerous amount of reasons. 1. what if he abandoned me when I was a baby (My mental state surely does not need that) 2. This all clicks back to the past which I am trying very hard to get over and could bring back all the bad memories. 3. Then I have to tell the ninja AGAIN that I'm adopted and that will cause them to treat me like a baby again well... probably.

After a day or two, I ended up writing  Cliff, dad? I don't know what to call him. I agreed to meet up with him at Ninjago Coffee. Against my better judgment, my brain was saying but my heart needed answers. This was a void in my life that I finally could fill.

I told the ninja that I had to go out for a little bit. Of course, they all worried since I was still recovering but I told them I would be fine besides it wouldn't be that long anyway. They reluctantly gave in knowing they couldn't stop me if they wanted to.

I walk up to the Coffee shop I agreed to meet him at. I open the door to see a man waving vigorously at me. It was him. I walked over to the table he was sitting at. I hope this goes well I thought to myself and sat down.
