Explanation

Cole's Pov

I knock on the door to sensei's room. I found him meditating. I knock on the door "Hey Sensei may I come in." He gives me permission to enter and I signal for the others to wait outside the room for me. I slide the door after entering. I sit down in front of him. We sat there in silence for a few moments Until I asked "Sensei what was all that about in the courtyard." Sensei took a sip of tea and then placed the cup beside him careful not to spill. "I don't know what you mean" he answered all innocent-like. I cocked my eyebrow "with that random guy who turned out to be Jay's birth father" he clearly knew what I was talking about. He sighed after taking another sip from his tea. "You guys can come in. I know you are eavesdropping so you might as well"The rest of the ninja excluding Jay came into Sensei's room. 

Wu's Pov

I took a deep breath. "Well, it all started during the war with the Anocondri. Jay's birth mother Libber, the master of lightning, helped fight alongside many of your parents and elementals. She was crucial to helping us win the war. I am in debt to her, she saved my life." I said taking a drink from my tea. "The war was now over so we went to Samukia Village to celebrate our victory. We found ourselves on a set of a movie. Cliff Gordon, Jay's father, was the star. Jay's parents met against my advice but anyways..." I start to fall asleep when Lloyd snaps his fingers in front of my face."Sensei earth to Sensei" Lloyd shouted waving his hand so close to me he hit my face. "Lloyd" I scold. "Sorry Master Wu" Lloyd said sheepishly. The other ninja laugh at Lloyd's actions. I sigh and continue on with my story. "They soon fell in love and by in love I mean only Libber" the ninja look confused.  I can see this so I try to further explain the situation. "Libber was probably the kindest woman I have ever known." I smile to myself. "She was one of my greatest friends. But she left." My smile fades into a frown. "During the battle with Crux and Acronix, she announced her engagement to Cliff. After the wedding that was the last I had heard from either of them until..." I stop when Kai interrupts "Until what," he asked practically foaming from the mouth with anticipation. "Until I found Jay at the doorstep in a basket with a letter" the ninja looked shocked. "I thought Jay was left on the doorstep of Ed and Edna" Zane asked. The ninja looked at him. "Wait how do you know that," Kai asked accusingly. "Jay has mentioned his adoption numerous amount of times you obviously need to work on your listening skills," Zane said shutting Kai up. "To answer your question, Zane. Jay was left on the doorstep of Ed and Edna. I was the one to leave him there. Why either of Jay's parents left him to me to bring him to the Junkyard I do not know. I only followed the instructions on the note left in the basket. If it was Libber or Gordon I do not know either." I say standing up. "All I know is I blame Gordon for her never returning" I finish and exit the room, leaving all the ninja alone.
