What's up with him?

Jay's Pov

The ninja's jaws drop in awe. "You're adopted," Cole asked. I mentally face-slap myself. Guess they forgot even though I've mentioned it 1,2 3 hundred times. Whatever it doesn't matter.  Cliff comes up and hugs me. Not expecting this I just pat him on the back awkwardly.  Making the guys lose it even more. I catch a few of them 'awwww'  at me. Embarrassing! Cliff breaks away from the hug and grabs my wallet from his pocket. He hands me my wallet I let a sigh of relief thank goodness he found it I thought to myself. After a moment Lloyd jabs me in the arm with his elbow. "What the hell Lloyd" I whisper rubbing my arm where Lloyd had poked me. "Introduce me" Lloyd not so much asked but ordered. "What I already did" he glares daggers at me clearly my answer, not to his satisfaction. "Fine," I say making Lloyd smile. Before I could Sensei came through the doors of the monastery building a teapot in one hand and a cup in the other. He looks up and notices Cliff. His demeanor changes from calm old sensei-like to noticeable anger but not enough to make him act on it. 

Wu's Pov

"Cliff," I say his presence disturbing me though I remain civil. "I didn't expect to see you here" "Ah yes Jay left his wallet I was returning it," he said smiling that fake tv movie star mile. "I see," I say taking a sip from my cup. "Well I best be off," Cliff said putting a hand on Jay's shoulder. "Heh ok bye," Jay said clearly embarrassed. "See you tomorrow," Cliff said making his way to the doors of the monastery. "Shame," I say. Cliff turns toward me. "I would stay but I have loads of work that needs to get done," he said flashing a smile as if he was impressing me. Not impressed. "It is a shame you'll be coming back at all. Good evening" I say turning around and walking back into the monetary with my teapot.  

Coles Pov

I've always been close to Wu, especially since the whole Sons of Garmadon and Skull Sorceror thing. "It is a shame you'll be coming back at all. Good evening" Wu turned and left. My jaw dropped even further than it did when Jay revealed he was adopted. What was that all about. Jay escorted Cliff out frantically trying to get Cliff to move. Everyone was shocked at Wu's comment yet Cliff seemed unfazed. Cliff hugged Jay very awkwardly one more time before opening the doors to leave. Once he left Kai asked "What's up with him" the question we were all asking ourselves. "I don't know. I intend on finding out" I say leaving the courtyard the guys following after me.
