Jay's Pov

I am once again alone in my room. There is a poster of blueprints and ruff sketches of my robotic arm or as Zane calls it 'nindriod arm' which honestly makes me feel better about the whole having to replace it. The memory of it all left me shuttering in fear even if I knew I was safe. I get out of my seat and look in the mirror. I look pretty good considering the scars that cover my body. They don't bother me so much except for one... my eye. I always thought it was cool to wear an eyepatch or have a scar on your eye. Don't get me wrong I still kinda think it's cool but it reminds me of my future shown in the caves of the First Spinjitzu Master's tomb. The memory of Nya hurts more than any punch or cut. I think all the ninja could agree; Nya leaving left the most visible scar figuratively speaking. My train of thought was broken when I heard a knock at the door. "Hey, you busy" I heard Kai ask.

Kai's Pov

"Uh yeah sure what's up" Jay replies to me obviously knowing 'what's up'. "So that was your dad huh," I asked trying to start up an actual conversation. "Mhm," Jay said fixing and toying with one of his random gadgets. "Why'd you never say anything or tell us," I ask wondering why he felt he couldn't come to me. "Ok, f*ck off now I've told all of you this a million times clearly only Zane listens. It doesn't even matter" Wow harsh Jay. "Hey, I listen I just don't care" as soon as I said that I both physically and mentally slapped my forehead. Fortunately, Jay laughed. "Anyone else would have been insulted luckily for you I know you have three brain cells so that's a compliment coming from you" Jay joked ducking from a pillow I  threw at his head. "Okay we are even now" Jay rolled his eyes at me. "For real though are you alright," I ask, Jay half-smiling,"Nope but have I ever been but all things considered pretty good" Jay's right things have been crazy yet somehow we manage. "I just hope we don't have another villain show u-" Jay is cut off by the alarm. "oH cOmE On," Jay said in his normal 'Jay' sarcasm but with a hint of frustration and disbelief with his, our, luck. "Let's go" I heard Lloyd call from down the hall. Jay and I grab my gear and Jay does too. Please just be something simple for all our sakes I pray to myself.
