"In which Anne searches for Gilbert after he goes missing for 4 days"

"Diana I am seriously worried about him," said Anne as she was on the verge of panicking "what if something happened to him? What if someone murdered him?"
"Anne relax I'm sure he's fine besides it hasn't even been 2 weeks, it's been 10 days,"
"Yeah two weeks Diana,"
"Two weeks is 14 days not 10," said Diana "besides I'm sure he's fine,"

"You ready for this?" Asked Ella as she smirked as her and Gilbert stood in front of a abandoned building
"As long as I'm getting paid then I'm ready," said Gilbert as he looked at Ella, who chuckled darkly
"Let the party begin,"
Ella walked away as she was out of eye sight from Gilbert, she walked into the building
"Anne please forgive me for what I'm about to do," muttered Gilbert, within seconds later he walked into the building

"Diana this may sound crazy but... I'm going to search for Gilbert,"
"Anne! Are you nuts?" Asked Diana "he could be involved in some dangerous crimes that you can get in trouble for,"
"So? I have to know if Gilbert's fine," said Anne as she walked away
"Anne I think your making a big mistake!" Shouted Diana down the halls "don't call me when you get arrested,"

It was late at night and Anne was walking around town trying to find Gilbert, this side of town was not what Anne was used to. She flashed her flashlight as she stopped at an abandoned building, she flashed her flashlight near the windows when she did she saw something that she wished she didn't see
Before Anne could process what was going on flashing lights came from around the corner
"Excuse me ma'am but your coming with me,"
"What's going on? I didn't even do anything"
"There's been complaints that this building is under the usage of alcohol I'm going to have to check your bag,"
"I'm sorry but my friend would never do that," said Anne "I think you got the wrong person,"
"Officer Daniels it looks like this teenage boy was in the procession of drugs and alcohol,"
"There's no way..."
"The evidence is right here see for yourself,"
The female officer handed Anne a bag that was heavy as it clanked around the bag, Anne slapped her hands to her face as the bag dropped into the ground. Anne bursted into tears
"How could you?!" Shouted Anne
"If I were you I would step away this boy is drunk as a skunk ,"
"Anne I'm sorry," said Gilbert
"No don't even talk to me... what we had... is over!"
After Anne said that she wiped her tears before walking to the police officer
"I hate to ask but can you drive me home? I just don't feel like walking,"
"Sure get in the back seat," said officer Daniel as he opened the door, Anne got in as she crossed her arms.

"Anne Renee Shirley, would you mind explaining why you came home at 3 in the morning in a cop car?" Asked Bertha as she wrapped her self in a bath robe as she got up from the couch
Anne looked at her mom as her face was red, she ran to her mom as she engulfed her into a big hug
