22. Cute Pyjamas

Hanee and Aerin flopped on the sofa as soon as they reached home. Layla came running to them.

"Hello layla~" Hanee patted her.

"Let's wash up and play some games," Hanee suggested. Aerin froze.

"You play mobile games?" Aerin raised her eyebrows. Hanee didn't seem to be the type who plays games.

"Of course. I'm not just the study type you know? I would kill myself if i just studied" she joked.

Aerin nodded slowly, knowing that she is THAT type of person.

"What about you? Do you play games?" Hanee asked.

"Not until Jake came to take care of me that day" Aerin smiled at the memory.

"He makes you happy huh?" Hanee stared at her, smiling. Aerin nodded slowly, slightly admitting her feelings.

"Then what about before you met him? What have you been doing?" She asked.

Aerin hesitated.

"Study and read. That's all. I had no friends to go out with, no one to play games with. So..study all the way" she laughed. Hanee was surprised.

"I'm sorry.." she said slowly, feeling guilty for insulting the things she has been doing half of her life.

"It's fine. No biggy" Aerin smiled.

"Well you have us now. You can drag us to wherever you want to go" she said with full enthusiasm.

"Let's wash up and then we can play the games" she stood up with her bag over her shoulders.

Aerin too stood up and went to her room. She looked into the mirror and smiled.

'Today wasn't so bad. I made new friends. This school is nothing like NCIT' she took off her clothes and hopped into the shower.

She changed into her pyjamas and went downstairs where Hanee was already waiting for her. Aerin was wearing bear pyjamas. She brought along her pillow, phone in her hands.

Hanee too was wearing cute pyjamas. They looked like 9 year olds, but it's fine. Hanee gasped when she saw Aerin.

"Aww you're so cute" she teased her as Aerin sat down. Aerin rolled her eyes jokingly and poked her.

"You're cute too~" she laughed. They grabbed some food and sat down in the living room, getting ready to play some games.

Aerin looked at the clock.

"It's getting late, aren't they coming home yet?" Aerin asked Hanee.

"They usually end practice late. Then they will head home with Eomma" Hanee said, logging into the game.

"Ahh" Aerin logged into the game too.

The girls spent about 30 minutes playing their games and laughing with each other. Who knew having a girl roommate is so much fun? They soon started getting sleepy.

"Okay that's all for today" the coach yelled at his team who was panting desperately. The guys groaned.

"Thank god" Sunoo knelt down.

"Alright boys, let's head home. It's getting late. The girls are at home alone" the guys looked at Mrs Sim who has been watching them practice since a while ago.

"I'm so tired" Sunghoon grabbed his towel and wiped his sweat.

"Eomma, can we stop by the convenience store for a while?" Jake asked while he packed his bag.
