There was something about Beidou you couldn't quite place your finger on, obvious in the way she walked beside Kazuha and Lumine a few steps in front of you - them, a few steps behind Shenhe and Yun Jin, a girl that had arrived with Lumine and Paimon - her hips swung from side to side and her profile nearly perfect. Sharp nose, plump cheeks, red lips. What she was, was but beauty, nothing less and everything more.

She felt of power and excitement, waves of heat coming in and urging you to be something greater than what you already were. However, what she reminded you of? That wasn't as clear.

"You seem troubled." Ningguang spoke softly, walking beside you.

After the rising of the chamber, which was a very interesting sight, she had mentioned something about leaving to speak to some of her workers. When she came back was a mystery for you and you quickly planned yourself to ask about how she managed to approach you without making a single sound.

"Do I?" Your head tilted instinctively, straightening back up when you noticed along with a simple shrug of your shoulders. "That's to be expected I guess."

"Oh? Is something seriously troubling you?" She quickly grabbed your arm, stopping you from walking further.

You watched as the others continued forwards - the agreement having been to enter the chamber and check out the improvements inside. A minute or two could be wasted though, right?

Turning to her, you dug your hands into the messily sewn pockets on your pants, thumbing the hole at the bottom of the right one and clicking your tongue. Her eyes trailed up and down your attire as if assessing the fit. "I can't help but worry, you understand, right? Lumine mentioned that the fatui took down my reward and posts, that they 'took care of the problem'. That's supposed to worry me, right?"

"Would you like my professional opinion or my personal opinion?"

You raised a brow. "The better one?"

Nodding, she concluded; "You're in Liyue borders now, that meaning that if any fatui members chose to take you back to Snezhnaya by force it would be abduction."

"But I'm not a Liyue citizen." You frowned.

She hummed. "Do you know the fastest way to get a citizenship?" When seeing you shake your head, she said; "Mora. A lot of mora."

"I don't have a suitable amount yet though. I'd have to work for a few months until I afford something like that." In habit, your hand rose and rubbed the back of your neck - eyes trailing away from the woman nervously.

It was as if each suggestion she gave was fired down, and each time her gaze got heavier.

Finally, she sighed. "Listen, I quite like you - more than most of the members that Beidou has accepted onto her ship - so how about this; I pay for your citizenship and in the near future, when I need something, you return the favour. Sounds reasonable?"

"What- no!" You gasped, eyes blown wide open. Did she think you were trying to get money out of her? "That's too much!"

"Well then do you have a better alternative to how you're going to secure your safety?" Came her question. "Beidou and her crew are strong, however, they will not guarantee your safety forever. She may not admit it, but Beidou has also had her fair deal of losses."

That was a very valid point, and she was correct in assuming the worst in a situation like this. But still...

"How could I ever return that mora to you though? It would take me months to save that up!"

Eyes closing, she let out a hum. "I do not seek mora from you - if I did, I wouldn't be giving it to you in the first place."

"Then..." you were starting to think something sketchy was going on. Maybe she was going to ask you to spy on someone for her undercover. You could, but was that danger really worth a couple thousand mora? "What is it you want?"
