Walking out the pharmacy you turned to Beidou, the woman standing tall and proud.

"Thank you." You sighed, looking forward to the public garden that had become even more busy with the noon turning warmer.

It was such a beautiful day, perfect to go out and enjoy the sceneries that Liyue had to offer - but how could you after that close call? Had Beidou been a minute late and you would...

"Hey, don't mention it." The woman grinned, laughing slightly as she slapped your back, causing you to straighten your posture. "I'm just glad I came when I did."

What are the coincidences she came just when you needed her? Ironic. "Yeah." You chuckled, trying to shake away the racing of your heart. "By the way," you couldn't help but ask, no matter how much you held back your tongue. "what were you doing around here? I thought you were helping Kazuha set up the ship for your next travels."

She smiled and looked forward, gazing at the crowd. "I actually came down to go stock up on food. But then I saw you with Zhongli and thought it would be a good idea to say hi. I'm glad I came when I did though."

"I see." You chuckled. After saving you more than once why would you even question her actions like that? "I'm sorry for interrupting you, can I help you carry the food to the ship then?"

She smirked. "Oh? Is this your way of repaying me?"

"It's the least I can do!"

A laugh left her chest, loud and lively and suddenly, you found yourself having missed the sound as you smiled at her. "Well then, any help is appreciated. Let's get going so we can get back before it gets dark."

What was supposed to be a shopping trip for food quickly turned into something much longer. Laughter and cheering following you both as you neared a stall with trolleys. "Excuse me, how much for a trolley?" You asked the kind woman behind the table.

Beidou stood beside you eyeing the steel product, wondering just what you were planning. In her and your arms sat closed boxes of the food she bought, her own muscles beginning to ache.

The older lady smiled and named her price - just a couple golden coins which you gingerly handed to her and thanked her as she wheeled out one of the devices.

"Okay so," you hummed to Beidou as you placed down the three boxes in your hold into the trolley, she followed suit - placing hers down and shaking her arms with a sigh. "Hear me out."

"What's up?"

"I wanna try something, but do you trust me?" You smiled.

The girl quirked a brow, suddenly growing extremely suspicious of you. The street was now much less busy as people had begun clearing out, probably off to get something to eat as lunch time neared. Wearily, she nodded.

"Good." You laughed, leaning down and hooking an arm beneath her knees and the other around her shoulders, suddenly lifting her up as she laughed.

Placing her on top of the wooden crates in the trolley, you moved away to grab the handles. "If you wanted to roll me around Liyue you should have just told me. I would have hopped in myself." She chuckled, turning to give you a sweet grin.

"Maybe, but that wouldn't have been as charming of me." You winked, pushing the cart down the street as she laughed, people in the street turning to stare with amused expressions.

"Is this your way of flirting with me?"

"Whatever you want think of it Beidou. Maybe I just couldn't stand how slow you were walking."
