Her eyes shifted to Zeus, angry, feral.

He smirked.

"There's that look that you told me about. I must agree, son. She looks delicious." he said, eyes hungry.

She tried to move but Aries had her completely still.

Was that the control he was talking about?

Her eyes turned to Aries.

"What. Are you. Doing. To me.?"she struggled to say behind clenched teeth.

Zeus laughed.

" Let her go. "he told Aries.

Aries took a step back but she still couldn't move.

It was like she had invisible chains all around her. Around her neck, her waist, her arms, spots that seemed oddly related to Ares, spots where previous wounds lay, before Aries had healed them.

At that realization everything stopped.

She tilted her head at Aries her eyes teary and filled with disappointment and anger at herself.

Zeus approached her, staring at her wide eyes, a presence most beautiful and attractive, always ready for his prey.

"What a clever girl." he said, letting the red chains materialize.

He leaned closer to her and grabbed the chain that was wrapped around her neck.

"You figured it out, didn't you?" he whispered, a wicked smile on his face.

Her eyes went to Aries, a tear escaping one of them, heavy with betrayal and loss.

There was almost a flicker of sadness in his eyes but maybe she had imagined it.

"Oh don't look at him. To his defense. It was mostly my idea. But I must admit, he did seem to greatly enjoy it." he said, looking towards his son with a smirk.

Aries looked at Tal coldly.

"You should be flattered. He's a hard one to please. Takes after me." he said, looking into her glaring eyes.

She tried to say something but the chains on her neck were too tight.

"Son do me a favor.Loosen the chains a bit. I wouldn't want that pretty little neck to be bruised...at least not by your chains." he told him.

Aries obliged indifferently, letting her breathe a bit better.

Zeus leaned down so he could hear her better.

There were a few moments of silence and her raspy breathing before she finally spoke.

" Fuck you. You fucking bastard !"she spat out before headbutting him, harshly.

He stepped back a bit disoriented and caught the blood running from his nose with his index finger.

Aries eyes widened and he tightened the chains.

Tal smiled proudly, blood trailing from her forehead to her lips.

Her blood.

His blood.

Mixed.

Zeus looked curiously at his finger before putting it on his lips and tasting his blood with a smirk.

"Father, are you alright?" Aries rushed to him.

Zeus held out a hand in front of him, making him stop.

" Oh...your going to be so fun to break." he said to her, grabbing her by the chin harshly before pulling her by the chains on her neck.

"Where...where are you taking her?" Aries asked, a frown on his face.

Zeus stopped only for a moment before walking into the room he and Aries were discussing their plans before.

"Oh..we're...we're just going to have some fun, aren't we, darling?" he asked.

Tal growled at him in reply.

He chuckled coldly and dragged her in the room before shutting the door closed behind them.

She noticed the mask of indifference Aries had wore, was replaced with loud worry.

It was the last expression she saw, before the door closed fully.

Her attention went back to Zeus.

He sat her down on a throne like chair while she glared at him.

" Oh don't look at me like that, darling. " he said, pouring himself a cup of ambrosia.

"What, like I want to kill you?" she asked aggressively.

He smirked.

She leaned towards him, even through she was chained to the chair.

"Maybe it's cause I do, did you think of that you sick bastard?" she growled, feeling her veins pop on her forehead at the strength she was using only to speak.

She let out a breath and lay her head back, feeling the dizziness wash over her.

She breathed rapidly, too harshly on her lungs and it only seemed to worsen her state.

"Don't waste your breath, your barking doesn't faze me." he said, watching as she struggled in pain.

"You have no one. Your best friend and lover betrayed you. Your...protégé is moving on  with his life trying to find out his identity, your family wanted nothing to do with you, if you weren't of use. Artemis has already forsaken you. I don't believe you have anything left. "he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

She looked at the ceiling, struggling again to be rid of her chains, which only seemed to get heavier as his words settled.

Memories flashing through her mind.

Oh no.

A tear started falling.

No. Not now.

She couldn't show weakness.

Not now.

Not to him.

But the tears kept coming.

She was sure...not having cried for so long, if it happened again, she wouldn't know how to stop.

She struggled again against her chains but nothing came of it.

Breathing heavily with emotion, feeling as completely alone as he was describing, she gave up on fighting and hang her head low, letting her tears fall.

"Fuck..."she let it out softly, trying to fight her tears.

He smirked at her final defeat and slowly approached her, like a lion does its prey.

He lifted her head by her chin and watched as blood trailed from her forehead to her eye to her cheeks and finally to her lips.

He watched as the light from her eyes slowly extinguished.

His thumb went to her lips and wiped the mixture of salty tears and blood that covered them.

She was shaking.

"Don't. Touch. Me."she managed to say, with the last of her fight.

He slowly loosened the chains and kneeled in front of her.

She frowned at him, though it didn't hold much emotion.

The chain hugging her body slowly fell down and left behind bruises that Zeus slowly caressed, making her whimper softly at the pain until her dizziness made her lean towards him, ending up in his arms.

"Such a good girl. You're doing so good, darling."he whispered slowly healing her injuries, with a softness she didn't expect.

A soft tremble came over her as he continued to caress her.

" Just surrender to me and let me take care of you. " were  the last words she heard before completely losing sense of herself.
