The flight was beyond awkward.

James was sitting between them, uncomfortable as Ares gave him death stares and Atalanta looked out the window.

"Switch seats with me." Ares growled at James.

James shook his head furiously.

"Absolutely not. I don't want to be a witness to your...whatever that was." he said, looking aghast.

Ares rolled his eyes and grunted, before laying his head back on the seat.

His eyes went to the bare isle and James that separated him from her and then to the person sitting next to him.

He had taken his shoes off and it was not a pleasant smell.

Ares clenched his fist.

"Stupid mortal. I'm a god. I shouldn't have to experience this." he murmured to himself.

He turned to Tal.

She was still looking out the window.

He wondered what she was thinking.

Could it be that she regretted it?

He chose to shake that thought off.

" Tal! Pst! Tal! "he called.

James rolled his eyes and gave Tal a little nudge.

"The god of war, demands an audience with you." he said sarcastically.

Tal frowned and turned to look at Ares with a questioning look.

Ares smiled when he caught her eye.

He gestured for them to go to the bathroom.

Tals eyes widened.

James pulled a disgusted face.

"I'm not going at it on a bathroom. Especially one that's on a plane!" she whispered shouted.

Ares signed, irritated.

"Prude." he murmured.

Tal rolled her eyes and took out her phone and some headphones, choosing to ignore him completely.

"Idiot." James murmured, before opening the airplane magazine.

"Let's see what Greece has to offer..."he murmured looking at the pictures with the models.

Half an hour passed and James had fallen asleep and was snoring.

Ares was still squirming in his seat, trying to get comfortable.

Tal was lost in her music.

She felt his gaze momentarily and turned to look at him.

He smiled at her.

She frowned and then turned her attention back on the window.

She had regretted the kiss. It wasn't sensible. It was hot. Sure. But smart? No.
She needed smart. Brain before heart.

She knew what fucked up places her heart took her...and she didn't intend on trusting it again.

Ares looked at her briefly before sighing and closing his eyes.

She bit on her lip and turned to look at him.

She was doing it again, wasn't she?

Closing up.

He hadn't shown her any bad intentions...he seemed honest...

Maybe she would talk to him when they arrived.
