the bad/good news

"Your dad called." Guy said.

"But why did he?" I asked. "He just wants you to go back home so he can talk to you." Guy replied. I nodded went in the bathroom to change and brush my teeth and hair and then packed my clothes.

I went down stairs to see Connie and Guy drinking their tea. I walked up to them and said my goodbyes and went home.

I walked home and opened the door to see my dad on the couch. "You called?" I said. "Kaitlin.." Charlie said. "Yeah?" I replied. "I'm sorry for what I did." He said. "But why did you believe her not your own daughter?" I asked. "I dont know what I was thinking I'm sorry." He said. "Its okay but why did you want me home?" I asked.

"Well I got good news and bad news.." he said quietly. "Well what is it?" I said. "The good news is that I broke up with Katherine." He said. "And the bad news?" I said. "We have to-" He started until Averman and Luis walked in. "I'll tell you later." He whispered. I smiled at him and went up stairs and called Logan.

I hung up and walked downstairs.
"Hey what you guys talking about?" I asked. "Oh nothing just about to go out." Luis said. "Okay where are you going?" I asked. "Oh just a pub to do a meet up with everyone." My dad said. "Okay see you later!" I said.

I waved them goodbye and ran up into my room.

I blasted music in my room and danced around. I listened too.

I turned off the music and just relaxed on my bed. Its 4 pm now so I just got changed into my hockey gear and put on my roller blades and played street  hockey. I Normally play street hockey with Logan but he is at his mums for the week.

I play for about 10 minutes until someone came up to me. "Hello?" I said. "Hi I came to say you're really good at street hockey." A young girl said who look around 8 or 9. "Aww thx are you any good?" I asked. "Well I play a couple of times but my mum thinks it's too dangerous." She replied. "Oh that sucks well I think she is waiting for you now but maybe a i can teach you?" I said. "Yes please!" She said excitedly. "Well if your mum says yes, meet me here tomorrow at lunch." I said. She hugged me goodbye and left with her mum.

I smiled to myself and carried on playing.

It's been a couple of hours and I made myself some dinner. After dinner i sat in the front room and just watched the Newsies.

I watched the Newsies for a bit until i heard the door open. I turned my head to see. Guy, Connie, Luis, Averman, Dean, Fulton, Julie, Adam aka my favourite uncle, Russ, Goldberg, Ken, Dwayne and my dad Charlie. I smiled at them and watched the Newsies.

"Aww Kaitlin my favourite daughter!" I heard my dad say. "And only daughter." I replied confused. "Right." He said. "What is it you need to tell me?" I asked. Everyone sat down on the sofa. "Right I know your not gonna like this but there is good news with it." My dad said. "Oh god." I replied while pausing the tv. "What is it?" I said. "Okay sooo you know how me and Katherine broke up?" He started. "Yeah?" I said. "Well because of that I decided to-." He started before getting talked over. "Just tell her!" Averman yelled. " I was about to!" Charlie yelled back. "Anway I was thinking we should move." My dad said while my face dropped. "Move? Where? Why? When?" I said. "Well were moving because of Katherine, were moving to L.A (just made it up) and were leaving in 2 months." He said. "Why, why and why, well I get it because of Katherine but why to L.A and in 2 months?!" I said in disbelief. "Look I'm sorry but the good news is that Adam is moving in with us!" I looked at him and Adam. I smiled faintly and walked upstairs.

"We'll talk to her." Connie and Julie said. They both walked upstairs and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" I asked. "Connie and Julie." Julie said. " come in" I said quietly. "Hey how you feeling?" Julie asked and I just shrugged. "Dont worry you'll be okay." Connie said while rubbing my back. "I know but how will I tell everyone?" I said in a shaking voice. "When you next have practice tell them then." Julie said. "And you can also make new friends and learn new hobbies like baseball because I remember you used to love baseball but then you got into hockey." Connie said.

After talking for a while you all went downstairs. I sat next to Adam and my dad. I hugged up to my dads arm then he put his arm around me and just hugged me. I smiled slightly and went to sleep.

That's it for this chapter! I had a power cut in the morning so I couldn't post it but it's fine. Btw I'm getting a new phone so i have to quickly finish this before I get a new phone. But imma keep this phone for a bit so I can finish this story because I'm getting it tomorrow I think.. but I hope you enjoyed this and I will post the next chapter soon! Xx
