"What are you too doing?" Drew asked us. "Well, I'm just monitoring this and Lacey came to talk" Brad said. I nodded implying that brad was correct. "Groovy!" He said walking away.

I didn't think much of it and continued the conversation with Brad. "So how long have you served in the police department here?" I asked. "Well, in a few months, it'll be my 4th year in the county." He said sopping on his coffee. We were there for a good 10 minutes until he needed to use the washroom. I soon wondered off to find my mother.

"Oh, Lacey." "Yes mom?" I questioned. "I was wondering if you have seen anything?" She asked me. "Uh I did sense something in the one of the girls bedrooms, if that's what you mean?"

"Yes Lacey. Tell me." She looked at me. It was a strange thing coming from her. I turned towards my mother. "You know how you said that the door slammed shut while those girls where scared? I was walking in and there was this awful smell like their parents had described. I walked towards the wardrobe and looked inside there was nothing." I said looking down at my feet.

"You're right. We think the dresser has something g to do with it. We just need a few more thoughts you know?" She asked me. "Yes, I hope we can sort it out, and help thes family."

Just then, we heard a bell ring. Everyone in the house looked at the door and back at us. Slowly, I walked towards the door, and we were scared for a bit until Brad walked out. "What?" He looked at us confused, "I had to go." We all sighed with relief and went back to what we were doing. "Just know that we'll make it out of here safely honey." She pulled me in for a warm hug that made me feel better about the situation we were in. I just hoped she was right.

A/N- Hello everyone! I finally wrote a new (short) chapter! I haven't uploaded since like march of last year?!? I'm not sure but life has been stressful so I'm sorry for keeping you waiting for so long.
