Chapter 4

As I was heading over to my dorm, I felt a hand hugging me from the back

It's a very familiar hand..

"A.. ayato?" I said unconsciously

"Yes, it's me my love" Ayato whispered in my ear

"Ayato as much as I love this, we're currently not in private right now, anyone could see us like this" I said while blushing

"Then let them see princess" he said while kissing the back of my neck

"Ayato, you aren't usually like this, what's wrong" I said, concerned about his well-being

Ayato dragged me to my room, sat down and pulled me over to his lap and started kissing my neck again

"Princess, though I love you and know that you are loyal, I dont want you to be hanging around with other guys" Ayato said

"Especially Thoma" Ayato whispered

"Ayato, how did you know who I was hanging out with? And they're just my friends"

Ayato hummed at me and said "Better be careful with who you hang out with beautiful, I don't want you to be locked up in the estate just because I'm jealous"

A shiver went down my spine, I never saw this kind of behavior from him before

Ayato placed me down on my bed and started to play with my hair, "Sleep tight princess, you have a big day tomorrow" Ayato said

Ayato leaned down to my ear and whispered "congrats on being my sister's lady-in-waiting, my love" and kissed my forehead

Ayato walked out from the room and I dozed off pretty quickly

The next day

Today is already a bad day..

I woke up late and Lady Ayaka got upset at me, Ayato is out since dawn, my work is piling up and Thoma whos usually accompany me while doing work is out

Just as I thought it couldnt get any worst, I felt nauseous due to the stress and almost threw up beside the Lady, luckily I got up and ran to the nearest bathroom before it could happen

"Y/n.. are you okay?" Ayaka asked me when I came back from the bathroom

"Yes my lady, I'm alright just feel a bit sick" I said while putting my hand on my chest

"Y/n.. I.. don't think you're suitable for this job" Ayaka frowned

"But my lady-"

"Let me finish, I love your hard work but I noticed that its very stressful for you, maybe you should stick on being Ayato's maid" she said to me

"But my lady, it's just I'm nervous for this job and Lord Ayato is rarely at the estate, please give me some time to adapt into this new environment" I begged Ayaka

"Y/n.. you're like a sister to me, I hate seeing you all stressed out" Ayaka said to me

"Maybe I should've took things slow and not rush you into stuff" Ayaka continued

"Its alright my lady, I can handle it" I said to her

"You can take a rest for the rest of the day, tomorrow I want you to start fresh" Ayaka said "Then I shall take my leave" Ayaka said while walking out of the room

I sighed and rubbed my forehead and headed out to go meet my friend, Yoimiya.
