"You can call me Kazuha" he winked at me

"Kazuha... that's a nice name. Wait are you from Inazuma?" I asked him

"Yes, but I'm a wanted fugitive" he sighed deeply

"H.. hey! Don't be upset, I'm a wanted person too!" I tried to comfort him

"Well yes, I can see that" he giggled at me

I can't believe a fine man like him is a wanted fugitive, but that's okay with me

"Hey, since you are running from the nation's samurais, wanna join me on a cruise ship? They're not heading anywhere, I just like to hang out with the crew" he asked

"Definitely!" I held his hand while he leads me to the said cruise

*Y/n's pov*

I woke up from my nap just to find that I'm on Ayato's bed and saw him sitting on the edge of the bed

I sat up and went to hug him

"How have you been?" I asked him

"Not well" he sighed

I just remembered that I was sleeping on Thoma's shoulder, did he not get jealous?

Well, it's certainly a character development if he didn't

"I get it, everything has been stressing me out too" I sighed as well

"How's Ayaka?" he asked

"The last time I saw her was when she was unconscious, and now Lumine is taking care of her" I answered

"Y/n.. promise me you won't ever leave me?" Ayato said to me

"Ayato... obviously I'm never leaving you and Ayaka wont be leaving you any time soon either!" I faced him while saying that 

I hugged him and comforted him in silence

"Its just... everything has been going so so wrong, if I didn't have employed her, Ayaka would be fine by now" his voice cracks

"Y/n.. my plans never failed, so why now? Im at the risk of losing my only family Y/n.. I don't know what to do.." he continued sounding exhausted

"Ayato.. I'm sure she will be just fine and I'm sure Chiyo is going to be caught soon, let's trust the traveller okay? With her help surely everything would be fine" I told him while caressing his back

"Please, tonight, just stay with me, I need you" Ayato told me

"Anything for you" I continued

*Chiyo's pov*

"So you're telling me you only liked that Kamisato guy because of a small interaction you had with him when you were a kid?" Kazuha asked for confirmation

"Well.. yes" I said, a bit embarrassed

"Oh cherry pie, why even bother with him? He's busy all the time and didn't you say he's in a relationship? Tsk tsk bad girl" Kazuha teased

"I-"

"Why don't you go for someone that have all the time in the world for you? The one that can make poems about you, the one that actually loves you" Kazuha cuts me off

Is he talking about himself? But to be honest, he's not wrong but Im choosing to be loyal to Ayato

"No thanks, not interested" I said with a cold tone

Kazuha caressed my cheeks and said "You sure? Because your face is as red as the leaves that's on the ground during fall, and that's saying something else than your words"

Fuck it

I leaned in for a kiss and he accepted

I can't believe I gave my first kiss to a man I just met but he's such a good kisser

He pulled away and smiled at me "I knew you liked me"

"Oh yes, I want you to meet the captain, come on let's go" Kazuha grabbed my hand and brought me to the captain

"Hello Beidou" Kazuha said to the woman that looks like a pirate

She's pretty, but not as pretty as me of course

"Yo Kazuha! Who's this?" The woman asked

Kazuha grabbed my waist and said "Chiyo, this is Captain Beidou and Beidou, this is Chiyo"

"Ahh, I see, enjoy the cruise!" Beidou smiled

"Excuse me, where are we going?" I asked her

"You'll see, I think you will love the place we're about to go" Beidou winked and Kazuha just smiled at me

IM SO SORRY I'VE BEEN DEAD FOR A YEAR

but im back now hey <3 most of you probably forgot about this book and i did too dw. ive been so busy with my studies i don't even have time to write or play genshin anymore (fun fact i haven't even explored sumeru)

for now, ill try to update if i remember but ill officially graduate in 2 months so hopefully by then I can continue writing AND i have an idea for a new book but that's for after this book ends
