Jared:

After Kelsea and I had dinner at the Radison, we walked back to the dock, our arms linked together looking up at the sky painted with twinkling stars. I had realized after Skylar broke up with me, that I had told Kelsea something about herself instead of Skylar, but we had fun, alot. We rode the ferry back then found our cars and said our goodbyes. Kelsea was running to the store for snacks and a movie to watch with her. I went home to changed into a pair of sweats to relax at home and play with Asher and let my parents have some quiet time together.

When I got home and told my mom and Holly about the night and concluded with telling them about the break-up. My mom gave the expected, "Aww, I'm sorry." Cate giggled quietly and walked upstairs. I hugged my mom goodbye as she walked out to meet my dad for a late dinner. I went upstairs, grabbed Asher out of his crib, then went to Holly's room.

"What's so funny about Skylar breaking up with me?"

"One, I know how you feel about Kelsea, and two, you don't look to upset."

She's right, I'm not that upset. "I'm going over to Kelsea's. Are you going to be okay by yourself?"

"I'm not two, am I?"

"Okay, if you need me, you know where to find me."

"Yup." I walked out of her room with Asher cooing in my arms. I walked over to Kelsea's and walked in, "Kelsea!", I yelled.

"Up here!" I heard her scream from upstairs. I walked up.

"Hey." I heard her call from her room. I walked into her room and saw her throwing stuff into a blue and gray duffle bag. I looked at the clock, it read, 7:45. "What are you packing for?" I asked.

"I have a volleyball game tommarow morning, but coach wanted us to have a practice tonight before the game tommarow. There was basketball practice all day and this is the only time we could get the gym. But, I completely forgot."

"Aren't you the captain, shouldn't you know these things."

"If I wasn't so busy dealing wih your date problems." She recoiled. "I have to get going." She was holding her kneepads in her hands. "Okay." I grabbed her duffle as she tried to slide her kneepads over her sneakers. "Where are your parents?" She pointed towards her dresser which had a little sticky note on it. I picked it up and read it, Your dad and I both had to go to work, see you later. "Your parents like using sticky notes... Wait, if your parents are both at work, what car are you taking?"

"Darn it." She said still wrestling to get her kneepads on. "I'll drive you." I carried Asher and her bag down to my car. I put Asher in his seat on my car. Then, pulled out mt cell phone and called Holly. She picked up the phone and said, "What?"

"I'm great Holly. How are you?" I said sarcastically.

"'I'm great Holly. How are you?'" she said mimicing me.

"I'm going with Kelsea, to a late volleyball practice, because she needs a ride. Do you want to come with us?"

"Okay, I'll be down in a second."

"Hurry!"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." she said.

Kelsea came running out of her house, with her kneepads at her ankles. I said, "We're just waiting on Holly."

"Okay." She jumped in the front seat. She kept looking back and talking to Asher and playing with him. A smile slid onto my face. Kelsea looked up at me, and smiled. Holly came running out of the front door and hopped into the backseat. I backed out of the driveway and drove to the school. When we got there, Kelsea jumped out and ran towards the gym door.
