Jared:
Someone once said, "No matter what happens, life goes on." That's all I could think about. If this goes bad, the earth will keep spinning.
People always talk about how happy they are on their wedding day. I'm happier than ever. But, I'm nervous as hell. Adrenaline ran through my blood. I was about to walk down the aisle with the love of my life.
Knock. Knock. "Come in."
"Hey, honey." My mom walked in with Asher clinging to her side. His hair was slicked back. He had the red rose tucked into the pocket of his black tuxedo.
"Hey, Asher. Don't you look handsome."
"Aunt Kelsea did it." He answered. His voice full of excitement.
"Of course she did."
"And Aunt Kelsea put mommy in charge of Jared, isn't that right?" My mom asked Asher as she fixed my dark red tie.
"She can't be here to make sure I'm ready, so she sends my mom."
"I've been getting you ready since you were born. Now your all grown up and getting married." A tear escaped my mother's eye.
"Mom, don't cry." I wiped the tear from her cheek.
"I know. I know. I just can't believe you're all grown up."
"I'm all grown up? Look at Asher."
We both look to Asher who was jumping on the bed. He stopped and said. "I'm this many." Holding up six fingers.
Knock. Knock. My dad opened the door and stuck his head in.
"Are you ready to go? You can't keep a woman that beautiful waiting."
"You've got that right, dad. Let's go." I grabbed Asher off the bed and he raced out past my dad, my mom following close behind.
"Where are your friends at?"
"Last I knew they went to get ready with the rest of the bridal party."

As I descended down the stairs, the butterflies in my stomach grew.
My dad walked with me to the side entrance to the chapel.
He placed his hand on my shoulder, looked at me and and asked, "Are you ready for this, son?"
"Dad, I've been ready for this day my entire life."
My mom rounded the corner. "I left Asher with Kelsea. I wanted to bring this to you."
"Is Kelsea down here already?" I asked, spinning so my back was facing the way my mother just came.
"Down there, cowboy." Sky laughed.
"Nice try. Kelsea warned us last night. I thought you'd be able to control yourself." Wynter admitted, shaking his head, then laughed.
"I better get in there."
My mom gave me a hug, followed by my dad. Wynter and Sky stood, watching as my mom and dad disappeared around the corner.
"You sure your ready for this? My cars parked out front. Keys are right here. We can leave." Wynter joked, or I thought he was.
"I love Kelsea. I'm not leaving here until we're married."
"We're just looking out for you. You know Melanie and Natalie are telling Kelsea the same thing." Sky added, with a smirk.
"Okay. Okay. We're done messing with you. Get in there if you want to see Kelsea."
They waited until I walked into the chapel and headed out to head in before Kelsea.
