I clutched my lucky black crowbar in my right hand as I ran down the street. My dirty blond hair was whipping past my ears. a drooling Zombie that looked like a middle aged man was only 3 yards away from me,  I sprang into the air and the crowbar collided with the Zombie's head.  The zombie's skull caved into the rest of the head and he went down with a thud!

Now there was nothingelse standing in my way to the food market.  I stared jogging down the street being extra careful that I was very quiet so that other Zombies wouldn't hear me.  As I jumped over a few cars, I was in the front of the food market.

I got close enough for the automatic doors to slide open.  When the door were spread apart enough I slid my slim body through the gap and quickly put my back against the wall to look through out the store.

The store was pitch black, but I was used to living in the darkness so I could see well.  My back glided against the wall as I looked in each aisle. So far I only saw about 3 zombies, easy enough.  All 3 zombies were in the candy aisle.  I moved quietly past them and went to the next aisle.  I had a close enough view from between the shelves.

One of the zombies had his back facing me, and he stumbled backwards and was in perfect reach.  I angled my crowbar just right on the shelves and I pushed my crowbar into the zombie's head.  The skull made a squishing sound, I quickly retrieved my crowbar from the zombie's head and moved down the aisle.

I knew the sound would attract the other two even though it wasn't that loud.  The zombies can't see or run but they hear very well.  a crumb hitting the floor would trigger them.  I made it to the end of the aisle and made my way to the original spot where the zombies were.

I looked past the shelves to find where the other two were.  They were about half way past the aisle I was.  I grinned as I stabbed another one in the head as she was walking.   I pulled my crowbar out of her squishy skull and quickly did the same to the last zombie.  Now that the Store was cleared, it was time for me to get food and water.

I was in the candy aisle where I killed the zombies, I grabbed a couple of bags of Jolly Ranchers and some Twix and put them into my army green backpack.  I explored the store some more and found the canned food aisle.  Even though the Zombie Apocalypse happened 20 years ago, there are cans of food that can last longer then 30 years.  My whole life I have eaten a ton of rotten food, it's nice to get fresh food once in a while.

I grabbed some cans of tuna, instant mashed potatoes, a few bottles of Fiji water, and a big can of rice.  I stuffed the food into my backpack and jogged out the store making no noise as possible.  The streets were getting darker by the minute and I was about 13 minutes away from my hide-out.  I jogged faster and faster as it got darker.

The moon started to shine brighter, I was about 4 minutes away from the hide-out when I saw zombies starting to fill the streets.  I couldn't make it back to the hide-out in time.  This might sound gross but I had no choice.  I looked for the closest dumpster and jumped inside trying to make less noise as possible.  I poked out my head through the lid to see if any zombies heard or followed me.  I lowered my head very slowly to close the lid.  I got comfortable in the garbage and I fell asleep.
