I woke up on the same couch as I did yesterday. I felt really hot under the striped blanket wrapped around me. I threw it off my body and swung my legs to the side of the couch when something hit my feet. It was Danny snoring like he always does, very loudly. He grunted when I kicked him and woke up.

"What are you doing?"

"Just getting some water, calm down."

"You shouldn't go off alone, let me go with you."

Danny began to stand up and straighten his clothes that were messed up on his body. He held out a hand towards me. I put my hand in his, it felt warm and some what comforting. He pulled me up from the couch. He pulled me up too well, my foot twisted a bit and I fell straight on his chest. His hard body blocked me and I stopped falling.  "You Okay?" Danny asked, he looked really concerned. "I-I'm fine." I said trying so hard not to blush but his body was... perfect.  "Well lets get you that water, Okay?" Danny said with a smile.

We walked out of the peach room and down the flight of stairs to the little diner they had on the main floor. It was quite nice for a run-down building. Danny handed me a glass cup with water with a few ice cubes inside.  I took the water and thanked him. I drank the water until only the ice cubes were left in the cup.

"Bridget? Can I tell you something?"

Some panic went through my body as I put the glass cup on the nearest table.

"Depends, what is it?'

"Do you trust me?"

"To be honest, I'm still not sure, I've only met you a few days ago and you ate all my food. I'm still pretty pissed about that."

"Look Bridget I'm sorry about that, I hadn't had candy for years, I went crazy when I saw it. But other then that, do you trust me?"

"I guess, you did save my life yesterday and you knocked some sense into me. I guess I could say I trust you."

The look on Danny's face looked like he was going to cry. He looked so pleased with what I said to him. He walked closer to me and hugged me, tight.

"Thank you Bridget!" Danny exclaimed.

"Why are you thanking me?" I asked almost out of breath.

"No one has ever trusted me, only my brother trusted me. Remember that family I told you I tried to save? They never trusted me even though I only wanted to save them. Bridget, you are the only person that I can call my friend. Even though we started off on a bad start, you never killed me of left me to die. You were always there, you took me in even though I was a complete stranger. You gave me a place to sleep. Bridget, you've been so kind to me, even though you've done it in a rough way. How can I ever thank you?" Danny said, still holding me tight.  I could hear in his words that he was very grateful of me.

He let go of me and I saw his face. One single tear was running down his cheek, I would of never thought that Danny would ever cry in front of me. I wish I could say the same back to him.

"I-I didn't know that I had such an impact on you. Thank you for saying that, it means a lot to me." I said with a smile.

"We should go back to Sabrina, she might be worried about us." Danny said whipping his nose with the back of his hand. He straightened his shirt and cleared his throat. "Are you trying to be all 'manly' after what you just said?" I said teasingly. "I just want to go back to the room and catch up on my sleep." Danny said looking at his feet. "Uh-huh." I said and playfully punched him in the arm.

We walked back up the stairs to our room. I stopped Danny right in front of the door.  "I really am thankful that you said that stuff Danny." I said a kissed him on the cheek. I walked right past him and opened the door and walked inside without looking at him.

When I walked inside I found Sabrina sitting at the kitchen table with her head down. She heard us walk in and lifted her head from the table. She looked at us with watering eyes. "Where were you guys, I was so worried!" She said and walked from the table to me and hugged me, tight just liked Danny did moments ago.

"Sorry Sabrina, I just went down to the diner to get some water. Danny came with me in case I needed him. We didn't mean to scare you." I said, Sabrina was knocking the wind out of me and I cold barely talk.  She let go of me and I could breath again. "You know you guys could of left a note or something." Sabrina sounded angry instead of worried.  "I'm sorry, it was only for a few minutes. We didn't know you would be awake by the time we got back. But we're here now, there's nothing to worry about." I said trying to calm her down. She sighed and walked to Danny who was behind me and gave him a hug as well. "I'm just glad you two are Okay." She said under her breath.

Danny walked past us and walked back into our room, I guess to take a nap like he said back at the dinner.  Sabrina looked at me with a look that made me uncomfortable, "So what were you guys really doing?" Sabrina said with a tone that sounded like we were doing something dirty. "I told you, I woke up, I was thirsty so Danny came with me to go get water. That was it." I said trying not to blush, images went through my head that I never wanted to see. "Uh-huh, keep telling yourself that, I know there is something between you two and I am going to find out what." Sabrina said and walked past me into the kitchen and went to the fridge and pulled out an apple.

"Is that a fresh apple?"

"Yeah..."

"But there is not electricity, how can you keep fruit in the fridge when you can't keep it cool?"

"I have a cooler in here, I've pact it with ice and it keeps my things cools, do you want an apple?"

"Sure, but I've never had a cool apple."

Sabrina tossed me a plump red apple, some water dripped off of it. I took one bit off the apple, it was so juicy, I've never tasted an apple so good. "Where did you get these apples?" I asked "I got them at a food market kind of far from here, I found some fruit and hadn't rotten, surprisingly and took them. I also found this cooler there so I took it as well." Sabrina explained. "And the ice?" I asked. At the same place, they had a giant freezer there that had bags full of ice. It took me a while to get all the stuff here but I did it." Sabrina looked back in the fridge then closed it, she walked over to me and said, "Do you want to go there? I can help you get some supplies. I also need to restock, I thought it might be best to go altogether." Sabrina said looking at me with her big brown eyes. She looked like a puppy to me. "Sure I guess we can go, but lets wait till Danny wakes up, he can be useful, but we don't want him when he's sleepy." I said looking at the closed door to our room. Sabrina giggled and agreed, she then went to her own room.

I slowly opened the door to our room, I thought I would find Danny on the floor sleeping but instead I find him standing in the middle of the room with his backpack and a determined face. "I thought you'd be asleep." I said looking at him weirdly.

"I was about to go to bed, but them I over heard you guys talking about restocking, we might as well go now."

"Well I still have to get ready, go tell Sabrina."

Danny walked past me and walked out the door. I started taking off my clothes and began putting on some what clean clothes. I put on my dark blue jeans, and wrapped a belt around my waist. I picked out a orange shirt that I never really wear.  I unfolded it out of my backpack and was about to put in over my head when the door opened. "Sabrina is get-." Danny walked inside while I was standing in the middle of the room with dark blue jeans and a black bra on. My cheeks flushed and my body frozen with embarrassment. Danny's cheeks turned red as he sat there like an idiot staring at me. My body unfroze and I quickly covered my chest with my shirt. "GET OUT YOU SICKO!" I yelled at him. Danny quickly looked away and walked out the door. I finished getting ready and walked out from our room and saw Sabrina and Danny waiting for me.

As I walked out Danny hurried and turned his head and avoided looking at me, I could see that his cheeks were red. I glared at him for a moment and then looked at Sabrina. "Ready to go?" I asked. Sabrina nodded. I walked past both of them and opened the door. "Well then, let's go."
