VIGILANTE

The bag swung back and forth harshly. Sweat rushed down his tanned skin. Brows furrowed in concentration as he slammed his armoured gloves against the punching bag.

Y/n swung her legs back and forth, watching lazily as the man practiced his form. Silco leaned against the table she sat on. His hands busy with a screwdriver as he was straight back to making something new.

The two had spent hours together perfecting Vanders new baby. Now they stood watching him work out with them. He had practically begged the two to come with him. Just to make sure he doesn't brake or damage them. Vander was just a big kid.

Y/n groaned lying down against the table now. Her forearm covering her eyes so the harsh light didn't burn her irises.

Silco muttered under his breath annoyed his little experiment wasn't working. Tossing it onto the table beside him. Fully given up on trying to fix what was broken. Now taking out a cigarette from his back pocket, lighting it.

"This is a complete time waste. We could have been doing something much more important!" Silco complained out loud. Vander either ignoring him or not hearing him.

He turned towards Y/n elbowing her thigh making the woman sit back up again. Looking at the sulking man with a grin. The three had become pretty close over the past days. Usually doing things like this, much to Silcos protests.

"Oh come on, watching Vander attempt to box is the best thing we could do with our time." She chuckled earning a roll of an eye from her friend. "You should take some lessons Silco. I don't even know if you can fight."

He glared at her crossing his arms over his chest. Now settling with a resting bitch face. Not appreciating the woman's insult at all. She awed at him poking his side and face.

He caught her hand trying to get her to stop. She grinned shamelessly, trying to poke him again. This began the twos playful wrestle.

Vander grunted in paid stumbling back a couple paces. Silco and y/n had just caught him getting hit in the face by the bag. The woman pulled away to cover her face laughing. Silco looking the opposite way with a wide smile. Trying not to laugh at his friend.

"Don't laugh!"

The woman laughed louder leaning her head against Silcos shoulder. Silco let out a chesty chuckled. The weight on his shoulder felt right to him.

"You're fucking stupid." She let out finally stopping her laughter. Still leaning against Silco. She glanced towards the clock before smiling softly. "I have to go, I'm going Val's for dinner."

Moving off the table she stretched out her back earning a satisfying click. Grabbing her jacket that was thrown lazily over a chair.

Silco stood up straight running a hand through his hair, beginning to brush it back into a bun before tying it up. Vander nodded grabbing the jug of water from the floor taking a large gulp.

"Tell Val I said hey." He paused from taking a drink. "You waking her Silco?"

The lanky man hummed fixing his shirt before walking with Y/n towards the exit. Holding the door open for her.

"Yeah I shouldn't be gone for too long. We can talk about the next steps of Zaun." Vander nodded before turning back to his own things.

The two walked out the abandoned building, coming out into the streets. Y/n adjusted the coat on her shoulders before walking side by side with Silco.

"Remember we're drinking tomorrow night." Y/n reminded the man glancing up at him. "Don't be late."

"I'm never late." He scoffed with a smirk. "I should be saying that."

She puffed her cheeks, stuffing her hands into the pockets of her coat. Nodding towards someone who walked past.

"Not my fault you're always early."

"Excuses."

Y/n gasped playfully placing a hand over her chest. Pretending to be hurt by his comment. Her destination getting closer and closer.

"Whatever you say pretty boy. I wanna see you get shit faced." She teased once against sending a small wink his way.

"In your dream n/n"

They paused outside a small home. Turning to face one another. She smiled shyly before removing her hands from her pockets.

"I'll see you tomorrow Silco. Get back safe." Wrapping her arm around his side giving a small hug. Moving away before he could return it.

She barged into the house without knocking. Hearing the familiar child's laughter. A grin instantly spreading across her face. Rushing into the next room.

Two beautiful small girls sat attacking their father with hugs and playful punches. The red haired man shrieking playfully to entertain his children. His blue eyes shining in pure joy. Heading his daughters laughter.

"Woah! Who are these big girls!?"

Vi's head shot towards her. The young pre teens red spiked hair bouncing as she looked up. Her eyes glistening in excitement seeing her godmother standing in the doorway.

"Auntie!"

The jumped off her father making him grunt in pain. She rushed over throwing herself into y/n. The woman laughed ruffling the girls hair. Messing it up worse than it already was.

"I missed you too little red!" She coed squishing the girls cheeks.

"Y/n!" Another voice shrilled as footsteps quickened towards her. Y/n grinned picking up the small blue haired girl. Holding her tight in her arm.

"Jesus you're so heavy! Your mommas been feeding you good!" She teased pressing a gentle kiss against the girls cheek making her giggle.

"Yo sis." Ray greeted getting up from the floor to greet the woman.

"Sit down red I'm here to take these two perfect girls!" She glared before turning her full attention towards the kids again. Ray rolled his eyes flopping down into a wooden chair.

"Show us your tattoos again Auntie!" Vi called completely in love with her aunts tattoos. Even if she had a few, nothing compared to most people.

"Later girls, dinners ready." Val called over from the next room. Making the girls rush over in excitement.

"God I love them."

"I make some good babies." Ray joked gaining a disgusted look from y/n.

"I hate you Ray."
