VIGILANTE
Y/n and Silco grew worried for jinx. They hadn't seen her in two days. Searching the underground's top and high before Y/n mentioned something.
"Me and powder were attacked by the fire lights. They took the gemstone. Maybe she went to get it back." Silco turned with a furious look.
"And you didn't tell me? You could have died!"
Y/n didn't flinch as he got into her face. She knew it was out of worry and betrayal she never told him. Silco grunted running a hand through his hair. Stressed beyond belief at the news she just told him.
"I'm sorry."
Silco groaned pressing his lips against hers in a silent kiss.
"We need to find jinx."
Making their way towards the bridge Y/n coughed at the smoke. Her heart clenching at the familiar sight before her. It was like the day she lost Val, Silco. It hurt.
Bodies littered the ground the couple stepping over each of them. All of what were enforcers. Scraps of metal littered across the ruined concrete.
"Powder!"
Y/n cried dropping to the floor holding her daughters head up. Tears filling the corners of her eyes. Picking up her head placing it into her chest.
"Silco we have to do something!"
Powders hand fell open revealing the blue stone in her hand. Silco picked it up, placing it into his pocket. Turning to pick up Powder in his arms. Y/n linking her arm with his before walking back towards their home.
Y/n already knew where they were heading. To the same man that saved her life that day she found Silco. The day Vander died.
The building sat on the edge of the under city, a small stream running down where kids used to play.
Y/n barged through the door, letting Silco in with Jinx's lifeless body. Placing her onto the table making sure she was comfortable.
"Her injuries are severe."
"You think we don't know that!?" Y/n snarled before he's turning to herself. "You did it with me."
"I believe I can save her, but the process will be demanding. Sometimes death is a mercy."
Y/n huffed crossing her arms. Silcos hand rubbing up and down her back as she looked over their daughter.
"She can take it." Silco spoke for her, glancing towards the doctor.
"And before I begin I must know. Are you prepared to lose her?"
Y/n turned parting her lips before coughing sounded behind her.
"Powder!"
Leaning over her daughters figure. Placing both her hands against her cheeks softly. Making sure she didn't hurt her in any way.
"She won't die, doctor. She can't."
Silco placed a loving kiss against his wife's temple. The doctor dragging a chair across the room. Fiddling with the needle that sat between his fingers.
"Please understand this is for you own sanity."
Silco grunted as something sharp stabbed into his neck. The doctor dragging him back into the chair. Y/n turned around although another needle was then placed into hers. Vision swimming with darkness before her body dropped. The doctor catching her. Placing the woman between Silcos legs. Resting her head on his lap.
"I too once had a daughter."

Y/n stirred awake feeling fingers grip her h/c hair. Groaning she leaned her head back into the persons lap. Enjoying their familiar touch.
Powder.
Jolting her head up again her vision swam. Meeting eyes with Silcos. She took a minute to admire how handsome her husband truly was. Turning to look at the empty operating table finding no Powder.
She whispered feeling too weak to move. It instantly reminded her of her wedding night. God his awful hands touching her. Silco gently moved from her. Picking up a scalpel from the desk. Attacking the doctor from behind. Spinning him around pressing the blade towards his neck.
"What have you done."
Y/n watched from her place on the floor. Arms resting on the warm seat of the chair. Already missing her husbands touch. Craving it so deeply since everything happened.
"I saved her life."
Silco visibly relaxed, turning back to his wife. Capturing the woman in his arms. Swiping his hand from her face. Placing gentle kisses amongst her head. Trying to calm the woman down as much as possible.
"Can you stand, Darling?"
Y/n hummed pulling herself up with the help of Silco. They said nothing towards the doctor taking their leave.
"We need to find her."
"We will." Silco replied clinching her beside him tighter. "We will."
