Carly sat in her room after doing some classes. She rubbed her head and thought about the whole Dark Cybertron issue and Spike. She felt-no. She knew he hated her guts. Her phone rang and she flinched. Her parents barely call her and Spike never even texts. She answered as she cleared her throat, "Hello? Who is this?"
"Carly. We need you. All of us. Every last one of us misses you dearly." She gasped and looked around her room before shutting everything off, "Hoist?" She whispered.
"You better believe it. C'mon. He needs you."
She scoffed, "He hates me. He hasn't texted me since we broke up." Hoist chuckled, "No he just hates that he doesn't know if you hate him or not." Carly shook her head as Hoist sighed, "Please. Just come with me." She heard a truck outside as Hoist rolled up. She smiled and hung her head before biting her lip. She hung up and grabbed everything she could before rushing outside and jumping into the truck. Hoist drove off and sped his way to Teletraan-1. She was full of hope but didn't want to get too hopeful for what could happen. When they arrived she got out as Hoist transformed and carried her stuff. She ran inside and saw Spike hanging out with everyone else. She gulped as Buster saw her. He smiled and pointed at her. Everyone looked at her as Spike slowly walked to her. Carly approaches him as she hung her head. Spike just stared at her before hugging her tightly, "Hi Carly." She sniffled and hugged him back, "Hi Spike." Kicker smiled as he crossed his arms, "Glad they're back together. Aight who made bets? I said a few days after saving his ass?" Everyone groaned as Buster paid him.

Spike and Carly walked around and talked for hours. They finally stopped at Optimus' old room. They walked in and saw Goldbug sitting alone. They walked to him as he looked at them, "Hey guys..." They smiled and hugged him as he gently hugged back. Deadlock watched them before sneaking off. He sighed and went to Sunstreaker's paint shop. The Autobot turned to him and tilted his head, "Can I help you?"
"I need a paintjob. A new look." Deadlock spoke. Sunstreaker nodded as Drift lied on a bed. The bot rubbed his chin, "What about the logos?" Sunstreaker asked as Deadlock smirked, "Get rid of them." Suns smirked as he nodded and got to work on the bot. Deadlock was reborn with his new paintjob. He felt fresh and new with a better outlook on life itself. After his paintjob dried, he went to the armory with Prowl and requested a weapon. "What kinda weapon?" Prowl asked as Deadlock nodded, "A sword, sir." Prowl rose a metallic brow, "No one's used only a sword since Grimlock..." He found the perfect sword. Comprised of some of the strongest metal in the universe. Deadlock bowed his head as Prowl held it and noticed his Decepticon logos were gone. He smiled and bowed as well, "May this weapon be used when Absolutely necessary." Deadlock took the weapon and bowed again, "Thank sir."

Hoist was building something with the Constructicons and Grapple as Spike and Carly saw Deadlock practice with his new sword. "He's doing some Anakin moves." Carly joked as Spike shook his head, "Nope. He's Obi-Wan. Buster taught him to fight on the defensive." Deadlock spun his sword and finally gripped it in a defensive position as Buster clapped, "Much better Deadlock." The bot smirked and shook his head, "I am Deadlock no more. You may call me... Drift." He turned to the human as Autobot logos appeared and his optics turned blue. Buster smirked and bowed his head, "Of course, Drift." The bot smirked again as he ran to Buster and transformed into his sports car mode, "Let's go save the world!" Buster hopped in as they drove off to do whatever crazy stuff a new Autobot and human friend does.
