The Transformers: The Light That Saves Us All

Lori and Orion

Optimus beat up a bunch of mysterious transformers before he grabbed one and pinned them to the ground. He grabbed a a human shirt and glared at them, "Where did you get this...? ANSWER ME!!!" The transformer grunted, "A human... Needed water... We asked for her shirt... and she's gone now..." Prime slammed them against the ground again, "WHERE?!"
"That way! She's from the dark prime's world! That's all I know!" Prime knocked them out and grabbed the shirt and some other gear and food for the human he heard of. Optimus immediately transformed and drove towards the explosions he heard.

Lori was rushing away from a group of the mysterious evil Autobots and some odd looking Decepticons. She ducked for cover as one of them shot at her. Ratchet transformed and slapped the gun, "You FOOL! Optimus and Nemesis wanted this one ALIVE!" He smacked the bot to the ground. He knelt down to Lori as he activated his claw arm, "Come come now little one... we have plans for you..." Lori tried to back up more but was backed into a wall. She screamed as she looked away from Ratchet. They heard horns in the distance. Ratchet stood up as Optimus Prime rammed into his face as he drifted and transformed into Robot mode, sliding to a halt "Get away from the human!"
"What do you care Prime!? You don't even know who she is!" Ratchet glared at him as Prime narrowed his optics. "I know where she comes from... and I will save her regardless..." Prime ran at them as he pulled out his shield and bashed Ratchet down, kicked another con away, and body slammed Sunstreaker into the ground. He blasted Tarantulas with his blaster as he grabbed Lori and ran away from the scene. Ratchet glared at the Prime running away, "Optimus will not be pleased..."

Lori was shaking as she stood away from Optimus. He started a fire as he walked to Lori. He knelt down to her as she backed away, "Stay back! I-I don't want your help anymore... No more transformers!" She shouted. Optimus sighed and shook his head, "Please. I know of your world. I'm from another Universe... I would never commit the atrocities that Nemesis Prime has... Please. You're freezing. Come, I started a fire for you." He held his hand out to her. She ignored it and walked to the fire. She sat down as he stomach growled. Prime sat next to her holding some food and water, "Here. I made some food out of some sort of creature I saw. And the water I took from some outlaws..." he gave her everything as Lori started eating. Prime sighed as he watched the fire. He felt Lori lean against his leg as she sniffled "I haven't had rest in so long... I'm the last of my universe... everything and everyone I know and love is gone..." Prime nodded and gently wrapped his hand around her. "I am sorry... But after this... I promise I will take you to my universe. Where you will be safe and protected by me and my Autobots." Lori looked at him, "You don't even know me... like... properly..." Prime shrugged as he looked at her, "Even then, I will protect you. You are sentient being and freedom is your right. And I will die to protect your right to it..." Lori nodded as she rested her head against Prime's leg. Somehow, it started to rain. Prime held Lori in his hand as he sat back against some metal. She leaned against his body as he had his truck mode grill letting out warm air. Lori curled up in a blanket Prime had with him as she shivered. "Oh. This is yours." He gave her the shirt she traded for water as well as a jacket, "I- Thank you..." Lori looked up and noticed Optimus Prime's scars as she rose a brow, "I thought the Matrix allowed you heal..." Prime nodded, "It would if I had it... I was seemingly banished. But I left it to a great friend..."
"Megatron..." Lori said coldly as Prime chuckled, "Not my universe... I left it to Hot Rod... He's taking good care of it. I trust him." He looked down at her as he leaned forward, "I'm sorry about your universe..." Lori nodded as she sighed sadly, "I miss it... Having a family... friends... everything..." Prime nodded as he looked into her eyes, "I will be your new family... My Autobots and I will fight for you, die for you, and love you... Always... I am no longer Optimus Prime... Call me Orion... Orion Pax..." he said softly as Lori nodded, "Lori Jimenez..." she waved slightly as Prime nodded, "I will get you out of here... I Promise..."

After the storm ended and it was seemingly day, Optimus drove through the world with Lori in his seats. She was still asleep as he drove as smoothly as he could. They arrived at an odd structure of sorts. It was made of several buildings and a ship. Prime drove closer to it as he slowed his speed down. Lori slowly woke up as she looked outside and saw the structure as Prime transformed and held her in his arms as he walked to it. He pulled his blaster out as he walked closer to it, "If anything happens, you run and hide." Lori nodded and held on to Optimus. Prime walked closer to the place before several bolts of blaster-fire rain down on him. He protected Lori as he shot back at the source as the transformers firing ducked for cover from his  shots. "What the-?!"
"Fire at the human or myself again and you will know a wrath unlike any other!" Prime declared as one of the transformers looked down at the two. "Soundwave get the commander! Everyone else: ATTACK!" Several seekers and other types of Decepticons flew down to Prime. One of them landed in front of him, "Hand the human over Prime..." Lori held on to Prime even tighter than before. Prime held her close as he glared at the con, "Wherever she goes... I go..." The con glared at him, "Get the human to safety and capture Optimus!" Thrust rushed him but Optimus kicked him back and jumped off of Octane to kick Blitzwing. Prime landed and rolled as he punched Blitzkrieg and then elbowed Thundercracker in the face. Quake shot at Optimus as Lori gasped, Prime saw and covered Lori with his body as he was hit with every blast. He grunted and fell to his knees. Lori shook her head, "No, Orion! NO!" Starscream rose his hands, "HOLD YOUR FIRE! STAND DOWN!" Someone fired a blast into the air. Everyone backed away from Optimus as the bot looked up and still tried to hold a defensive position to protect Lori. The tall Decepticon walked over to Optimus and knelt down to him, "Can we help you?" He asked softly as Optimus nodded, "Who...are you...?" The con held his hand out to him and helped Optimus up and carried him inside, "I'm from a world where Optimus Prime is a tyrant... And I'm the freedom fighter for Cybertron... My name is Megatron." He smiled as Optimus chuckled, "Nice..."

After an hour, Shockwave and Soundwave worked on Prime as Lori ate some human food. Optimus looked at her and held his hand out to her. Lori held his finger as Megatron walked in with Starscream, "A billion apologies for my Decepticons. We've been under attack by two other Optimus Primes... One you may know." Megatron motioned to Lori as Optimus nodded, "And the other is our Prime..." Optimus nodded as he got up from the med-bed as he checked his scars that were fixed except for the one over his eye. Shockwave sighed and backed up "I'm sorry but we could not fix that-"
"No. This must never be fixed. Thank you for failing." He rubbed his head as he picked up Lori and grabbed all of his guns. Megatron walked him around the place as he hung his head, "What troubles you, Megatron?"
"We lost our universe as well..." Prime noticed several humans walk by. Megatron nodded, "The same thing that destroyed our world, now threatens your world..." Prime nodded, "Unicron." Megatron looked at him as Prime clenched his fist, "That is why I must get back to my world... I must save the Universe from Unicron... No Matter The Cost..."
