Lost Way

Megatron sat alone in his private quarters. He contemplated everything that led to where he was now, and who he lost. Soundwave walked up, "Megatron. Starscream requests your presence on the bridge. We have an urgent transmission from Galion 5. It's Counterpunch." Megatron nodded. Starscream walked in and modded at Soundwave "On screen." The screen showed Counterpunch helping Autobots and Decepticons, "Sir. I'm sorry. I couldn't stop myself fro-"
"Good work. Make sure they are safe and-"
"Screw you! You attacked them! Destroyed both camps!" Counterpunch shouted as Megatron rose a brow, Starscream spoke "No. We've been on the ship. No one has orders to kill. There's no need for it now! Get the Decepticons to Char and contact Ultra Magnus for the Autobots!" Counterpunch rose a brow as he nodded, "I'll look into it sir. But for now I'm playing medic. I'll put the call in sir." Megatron sighed and looked out a window with Soundwave. "I have lost my yearning for chaos and domination. Without a foe like Optimus, there is no meaning to my actions." Soundwave looked at him, "He was also a good friend to you too, Lord Megatronus..." Megatron nodded and hung his head, "Orion truly was the best... Take away the war, the symbols, the destruction and my need for power, and I am almost Certain Orion and I would be amazing friends." Starscream walked over to Spinister, "How long until we reach Char?" Spinister checked, "Less than one earth day, Commander." Starscream nodded. Megatron rose a brow, "Maybe I can take back my leadership by winning the war at last..." he said to himself as he smirked. Soundwave barely heard him as he walked away from the group.

Back on Earth, Buster drank what looked like beer but it was fruit punch. He sighed and hung his head before someone knocked on the door to his temporary apartment. He answered and waved, "Hi Charlie." She waved back, "Hey. Uh... Bee and I are going out to Teletraan 1, wanna come? We can get food?" Buster nodded, "Okay... I need friends right now anyways." He smiled faintly as he grabbed his wallet and a few other things. He walked back out with Charlie as Bee waited, "Hey Bee." Buster got in the passenger side as Bee chirped the alarm, "Hey Buster." Charlie got in the driver side and rubbed her head. Bee drove off as Charlie looked at Buster, "You miss Prime?" Buster scoffed, "Obviously. He was my best friend and it's only been a few days." Charlie nodded as Bee drove on to a freeway entrance. "I know what it's like to lose someone..." Buster nodded, "Family member?" Charlie nodded, "Yeah." Buster nodded again, "Sorry to hear about that..." Charlie nodded. They got to a fast food spot as they got some food. Bee drove as they ate together. Buster smiled faintly at Charlie, "So you're a mechanic too?" He asked. She nodded and smiled, "Amateur but yeah. I do my best." Buster nodded and smiled, "Cool." She smirked and ate some chili fries. Bee drove towards the secret entrance to the Ark. He got a transmission and slowed down to hear it. After he heard it he spoke, "Hot Rod is weird... He's been alone for a while but he's kinda losing. He made a ship to find Optimus."

Buster rose a brow. "But Optimus is... gone..." Charlie replied. As they got to the Ark, Elita was waiting for Bee. The humans got out as Bee transformed and looked at her, "You too Bee?" She asked as he nodded, "The transmission..." Elita nodded, "Yes. I think he's truly lost his mind... Also we have a problem. The Autobot and Decepticon bases on Galion 5 have been attacked. Reports say it was Megatron sporting a purple paint job." Bee rose a brow, "That's impossible... He's on the Nemesis to heading back to Char. Thundercracker confirmed it-"
"Yes but the attack pattern matches Megatron's!" The seeker flew in and transformed as he jogged to the two. He showed them the data pad, "Look. Same type of blaster fire. Same purple fire after. It has to be Megatron."

Starscream rose a brow, "That is beyond impossible. Megatron has been in his Quarters the entire voyage. I've had Soundwave and his minicons watching him the entire time." Elita rose a brow, "That's impossible... Then who-?"
"I do not know. But I'm sending a few scouts out to see what caused it. If it is somehow Megatron, I will let you know immediately." Elita nodded, "Thank you Starscream." The Air Commander nodded as he ended the call. "This is still weird. Working somewhat with the Decepticons." Bee spoke as Elita shook her head, "We've all lost our ways but maybe this is a chance to end the war peacefully." Thundercracker nodded, "I concur with Elita on this one. We can perhaps negotiate with Starscream. Now that he is in charge, he could be more open to it than Megatron... Hopefully...."
