The sun set in the distance and soon it was quite dark out in the desolate wastelands of District IX. Winds moved freely through the stone remains, as the group of wanted individuals made their way from their sky craft towards a spot where they would take camp. They all gathered for a few moments, discussing their invasion plans and attempting to find a point of entry. Unbeknownst to them they were already being watched, and their ship wound find itself grounded.
"Sir, the ship is chained and grounded. We managed carefully without alert." A mechanic reported, returning to Raxen beneath the surface.
"Good, good. Where are they?" The lead scientist asked eagerly.
"Just off the north end, scouting. They're attempting to find a place to breach their way inside." The man reported, turning a portable laptop with a live feed towards the blond man.
"Excellent, then everything is going as planned thus far." Raxen replied excitedly. "Don't let them out of your sight, I need all of them. Alive." With their ship secured with chains that were bolted to the surface, he felt as though he hadn't much to worry about. The next step was capture, and that would be something a bit difficult with them all hanging around together. He would need a way to cause them to separate. "We need to get their attention, a diversion of sorts that causes them to split off into two groups preferably." Raxen was saying, looking over some notes on the computer. "How can we go about this?"
The man who had just come in looked over, and an idea came to mind. "I can think of two ways. Unorthodox but this is indeed a sensitive situation so." The man smirked.
"Go on." Raxen asked, gesturing for him to continue.
"Well the first idea would be to get their attention using actual members. We could make a sound and attempt to get a few of them to investigate, and capture them similarly to how we do the badlands animals. The other plan... requires a bit more firepower." The guy explained. "We simply release a few of the mechanical war beasts, and attempt to corner them, then ensnare them during their attempts to fight them off. Using at least 2 or 3 units, so that they're forced to split up and combat them all."
Raxen seemed pleased with the suggestion. "Send out the dogs, no more then 2 just to give them a taste. Point one of them at their ship, and have another of them go for Khada specifically."
The man raised an eyebrow. "Why at him, if I have permission to ask?" He wondered.
Raxen grinned. "Because the angel would be forced into combat, while their pilot would be forced away from them to attend to the ship which is currently strapped down. Freeing it would be a several man job, so we'd be able to split them off in time for capture."
The man nodded in agreement. "Brilliant." He said. "I'll see to it that it's done. Five minutes to launch."
Umbra and Stardust were arguing, Cree trying hard to shut them up. The two of them had found an open entrance, and Cree was trying to get them away from it. But the two bloodthirsty beasts wouldn't budge, wanting to take revenge on the bunker for all the torments they'd gone through before finding their way from District IX all those years ago.
