The following afternoon came rather suddenly, as Stardust, Umbra and Cree were having a rather... heated discussion.

"You did fuckin' what now?" Cree snapped, his anger level was truly unseen most times but in this moment, there it was wide out in the open.

Umbra snickered and laughed at their latest addition to the team. "I liked the part about the skull fuckin' not gonna lie. She was 100% talking about me. "

Stardust was sitting in one of the lounge chairs in the large room where they held their conferences. Surrounded by tons of monitors, wires and computers, they sat at an oval-shaped table together at the center of the vast room. Stardust had her legs kicked up on the table, crossed over one another while she playfully and suggestively shoved her finger in and out of the barrel of her gun as she chatted away. Umbra had watched her for a while now, wondering what might happen to that finger, if she accidentally pulled the trigger during her fingering session with the weapon.

Cree slammed his hat onto the table, knowing that the conversation was meant for seriousness and not for these diluted perversions that her and Umbra seemed to share.

"Star you knew we needed him for this. Why'd ya have to go and piss 'em off?" He demanded. "Raxen is gonna get away with his shit and no one else in the fuckin' city wants to take on the job to travel out to District IX (or nine whatever)."

Umbra had a personal vendetta with Raxen, and it dated back years before he was ever born. Or created anyway. "He ain't getting away with shit, I'll do it if no one else is gonna." The wolfboy growled angrily.

The plan was to create another team, upon the news of District IX coming back to life. That District was once ruled by an infamous scientist named Raxen, who was assumed dead years ago after Epsilon dropped bombs on that District, leveling it to the ground. What was once a beautiful cyber city, was now nothing but chunks of stone, toppled buildings, and remains of thousands of bodies once living inside that District. Raxen had been well-known for years of scientific achievement, one of which included the creation of weaponized war beasts, which were once just machines that were remote-controlled and used to defend Epsilon in times of warfare.  But when he started mixing animal DNA with his machines, things got hot and heavy, and soon the damned things had started to develop their own minds.

Long story short, several of the organic war beasts were set free by an unknown member of Raxen's group, and they began to attack everyone in town, destroying everything in their paths. Since most of them looked rather similar, it was suggested that Raxen had multiple clones of these beasts, and the various creatures that had volunteered themselves for science and money. Almost no one survived, other then a small handful of creatures, Umbra having strangely been one of them. He was captured by The Order weeks after his escape, and raised as a hunter with rules, versus just being allowed to live and thrive on his own. It was there growing up that he'd met Cree, who eventually became his best friend.
