Four nights later...
Jhin relaxed in his favorite peaceful place atop the building he'd always sat on. He looked down on the city below, which slowly fell into chaos with the news of his return. Every major headline said something about The Golden Demon, the name given to him by an old group that had him in their grasp once, only for him to slip between their fingers.
On the night previous to this one, he had slaughtered four people, all important major officials of the city. Their bodies were displayed outside their huge ten story building, on the sidewalk for everyone to see the next morning. The security cameras caught nothing other then a man with the infamous white mask and clothing, wandering inside. And then their bodies mysteriously falling to their deaths below, the killer leaving, but not before tossing some rose pedals over their corpses. The scene was gruesome and disgusting, yet he'd somehow managed to make them beautiful. In his twisted, yet artistic way at least.
I inspire action.
All of them had single gunshot wounds to their skulls, which had blown apart leaving nothing but gore and a blooming lotus flower in their place. The man who had taken Jhin's fourth shot, had taken it in the back of his skull, and when his skull blew up, his eyes were found across from his remains. Perhaps the blast from the gun somehow knocked them free. Whatever the case, the eyes had remained in tact, though separated from the brain across from the body.
Cops had swarmed the scene like flies to shit, taping everything off. The building was kept to employees only, otherwise it was considered mostly shut down until they could clean everything up. Jhin was nowhere to be found, and it wasn't like they'd catch him anyway. No one knew his face, nor his true identity...
Khada was somewhat revitalized, and he smiled as he sat at the edge of his building. It was now a little over 24 hours since his last successful performance, but he felt rather... empty still. He was however, pleased with his recent work. He closed his eyes, thinking about the four people he'd killed the night before. How they backed away from him towards the building's edge, how he'd shot them, as they fell to their deaths. What the sickening cracks of their bodies must have sounded like when they slammed into the pavement as flowers exploded from where their heads used to be.
This is my calling.
"You did it again, didn't you?" A voice asked behind him, startling him to the point he got up and whirled around immediately.
"Oh. It's just you." Jhin sat back down, Angel's familiar albino everything finding him this night. "What do you want Angel, or are you just following me around?" He demanded, not looking back at her. The albino landed beside him, her having wings this time. She was still small though, not in her strange bigger form. She kicked her feet over the building, and he looked away from her.
With my technique, killing blooms into artwork!
"Hmm... the news is featuring your story everywhere. Your work is on full display again. You must be very happy." She muttered. "How is Whisper?" The girl asked, staring out into the city.
"How is Nocturne?" Jhin asked, ignoring her question and simply answering hers with the asking of his own.
Angel smirked at the fact he'd remembered her cat's name. "He's good. A happy kitty one."
You will learn what beauty truly is.
Jhin stretched his long legs, and sat there in silence. She did the same, never saying another word as long as they stayed there. She wasn't so bad when she was silent.
