There is nothing for me, but this.

I can't live without the euphoria of performance.

Jhin sat atop one of the many buildings in the city of Epsilon, District IV (four). He was a few stories up from the streets, able to see everyone walking around beneath him. Lights of all colors flashed, danced, and stained the city, which never seemed to rest. The man lifted his helmet, enjoying the warm air that slipped through the city every so often. He knew he couldn't keep it off for too long, since the air in Epsilon was rumored to have toxins in it that could make people sick. His brown eyes scanned the ground below, and paused over a familiar face.

There, beneath him, was her. He put his helmet back on, the red light glowing over it to show that it was connected properly. The man pulled his jacket's hood over his head, the white fluff around the edges moving in the breeze as he stood there.

Mmm... the ecstasy of killing.

Khada Jhin looked down to see the same girl he'd been taking notice of for the last few weeks now. She always came nearest his resting place. A place where he was once with nothing but his own thoughts, and the sounds of the city. Now, as he peered down however, he saw an albino girl. Playing with a small black cat in the alleyway just below him. She was always feeding that cat now that she'd discovered it there. Jhin continued to watch her, and then she seemed to look upwards, towards his direction. Had she seen him? No, impossible. He was in the shadows, there wasn't a chance that a human eye could see him from way up there.

But perhaps, the eyes of an angel, could have seen him.

Angel handed the kitten some tuna in a can, making sounds at him and whistling for him to come and eat. He gingerly trotted over, and purred for her as he ate happily. Finally, someone to care for him. He had been alone for almost a year now, and soon he would be full grown. Once he was a street cat, nobody would want him. So he greatly appreciated the kindness of his favorite stranger. The girl was one of pale flesh, silver hair, and radiant light blue eyes. Upon crouching down to pat the cat's head however, a red flashing light caught her attention, making her look upwards, towards the top of the building she'd been hovering around recently.

Just what was up there? Or ...who?

The serial killer that had ripped through Epsilon for years, now stood just above what would become his latest victim. How unlucky it was for her, that she might have decided to loom about where he often felt most placid. He watched as she wandered off, going in a different direction from which she normally went. Curious, he followed her, staying above her of course, the city buildings high enough but close enough for him to move between. Knowledge of parkour, was almost required in cities like this, and Jhin was no stranger to it. He moved extremely swiftly through the night, never letting the albino slip from his sight.

He stopped for a moment, watching her skipping towards the subway. Skipping, for fuck's sake she was probably a teenage girl. She wasn't, but she sure acted otherwise. Jhin studied her for a moment, noting the amount of people around. He was somewhere around 2:00 in the morning, so, not too many threats. This was manageable. The hunter followed his prey into the subway, and they made their way through a train station, before heading through another stairwell, that led them upwards to another street.
