Running inside the house you shared with you boyfriend, Luke, you were unpleasantly wet from the rain that decided to bombard you. Although, it was light, it was enough to send a shiver through your body and make you feel uncomfortably wet.
You called Luke's name, but there wasn't an answer. Shrugging it off and assuming he was out doing what Lukes do, you trotted up to your bedroom to get changed. On your way, you threw your hair up into a messy bun and pushed through the bedroom door. Instantly being being met with Luke cuddled up in bed, you furrowed your eyebrows, "Why didn't you say anything when I yelled for you?" You wonder as you walk to your dresser.
"I'm sorry I didn't hear you." He apologized and picked his head up to look at you, "Did you get caught in the rain?" He asked sheepishly. You rolled your eyes teasingly and changed into one of his flannels and black leggings, "Yeah, it's pretty cold out today too. I thought this was supposed to be spring." You commented.
You heard him move around in the bed, "Come cuddle with me." He invited. Well, more like demanded. You smiled and gladly jumped under the covers beside him. His long and stringy arms wrapped themselves around you and pulled you closer, "Wow you are cold." He pointed out. You buried your face into his chest, "I know, I'm sorry." You apologize.
"No don't be sorry, it's okay." He chuckled and settled the two of you into bed. His fingers combed through your hair lovingly as you traced little circles on his clothed stomach. Listened to the soft pitter patter of the rain from outside, you two fell asleep in each other's arms; enjoying the time spent together on this rainy day.
