You woke up to a sticky note stuck to your forehead. Confused, you removed the adhesive part of the paper from your skin and flipped it around to read what was written on the front:

You couldn't contain your smile once you finished reading it. You glanced over at the clock which read "10:46." You had a little over an hour to get there.

Arriving at the huge oak tree that you fell out of about eight years ago, you looked around for your boyfriend. This was your guys' spot because it was where you two met for the very first time. Of course, you being the clumsy person you are, you fell out of the tree in attempt to climb it like old times. Luckily for you, Luke was around to save the day.
With a bandaid.
You twiddled your thumbs as you stood under the tree's umbrage, waiting. Suddenly your hand was grabbed when it was resting at your side for a split second. You were yanked around the tree trunk to meet with the piercing blue eyes of the blonde that you love, "Hey, baby girl." Luke cooed in your ear.
You giggled as he leaned in to kiss your lips chastely. After a few seconds he pulled back, "Remember when I did that for the first time?" He asked you. You nodded and bit your bottom lip, "It was right here." You pointed out. He grinned toothlessly and guided you to another place.
You eventually arrived at the beach where you two had your first date.
"And this spot?" He questioned. "First date." You replied confidently.
He took you to your high school grounds where you graduated from seven years ago. You started dating Luke junior year so he took you to prom. It was where he first told you he loved you.
He took out his phone and started playing "It Will Rain" by Bruno Mars once you two where inside the school gymnasium where prom was held all those years ago. He held his hand for you to take, "Care to reenact this dance with me?" He asked. You smiled and nodded, "Of course."
He wrapped his arms around your waist tightly and pulled your body closer to his. The two of you swayed together for a few minutes in silence. It wasn't until almost the end of the song where Luke broke it, "Do you remember what I told you? In this very spot?"
You pulled your head up from its resting place on his shoulder, "You told me you loved me. How could I ever forget?" You replied.
He smiled and quickly dipped you causing you to tilt your head back all the way and just laugh. He brought you back up so that your noses were touching. A few breathes later he spoke, "I have one more place to take you."

After about a half and hour in the car, you finally got out and walked up and grassy hill that was unfamiliar to you. You began to wonder where the fuck he was taking you, and you mind wandered to the worst possible thing.
He was going to finally murder you.
At the top, he stopped. He faced away from you and took some deep breaths. "I don't remember this place." You told him. A few seconds of silence later, he looked down at his feet and spun around on his heel to look at me.
He was holding something in his hand.
"You will." He whispered while getting down onto one knee.
Your heart dropped right into your stomach. One hand flung up to your mouth to cover the gaping whole it was showing. Your free hand was talking by Luke's as he spoke nervously:
"Y/n, I have loved you for eight years. I plan on loving you for eighty more. I never want to know what my life would be like without you. I wouldn't have a life at all. You are the most beautiful, fun, intelligent, crazy, and amazing woman that I have ever come to know. Would you please do the honor of marrying me?" He gushed and opened up the small velvet box revealing the most gorgeous diamond ring you have ever seen.
You are absolutely lost for words, except one, "Y-yes. Yes! Yes!" You exclaimed as he stood up and you practically attacked him with a hug. He embraced you back just as tight, "Thank god." He breathed into your neck.
You couldn't wait to start your forever together, and that's all that you needed.
