Ryu's POV:
There was so much to get done with the concerts. I agreed with Jisung that while I was doing so much work for the concerts I wouldn't take on other jobs. There weren't enough hours in the day to pull it off. Since we decided to do the show through VLive, using their Beyond Live platform, I knew the specs well. There was more than enough room for the groups to play, and other than moving props and instruments, I could pretty much control the show from my computer. Computer graphics, lighting, videos all went through a central hub, and Beyond Live already knew I was capable of handling that. A knock on my studio door brought me out of my thoughts.
"Do you have a few minutes?" Kang Daniel asked from the door.
"Come on in," I said to him. "What's on your mind?"
"You know I have anxiety issues, don't you, Ryung-gi?" he asked me.
"I know. Are you having issues being part of the first weekend line-up?" I asked.
"I think so," he started. "I'm having a hard time doing my part of things in order to get ready for the concert, even just signing the posters."
He sighed and I felt for him. I had my own anxiety issues and they started when I was in that plane crash. I put my hand up to him to signal I was going to make a phone call.
"Hey, Ryu! How are you?" Rain asked when he picked up the phone.
"I'm doing well, but I need to ask a huge favor of you," I replied.
"What is it?"
"Would you mind moving from the last Sunday to the first Sunday?" I asked.
"No problem. Just let me know what time to be there," he replied.
"Same time, just first Sunday instead of the last," I told him.
"Alright, I'll update my planner to the change."
"Thank you so much! I'll be emailing an updated schedule to those who got the original schedule of the concerts by tomorrow. I really appreciate your flexibility for this," I said.
"No problem. I'll talk to you soon," he replied, hanging up the phone.
I looked to Kang Daniel.
"It's fixed. Rain is going to take your slot on May 2nd. You're not on the same show as EverGlow, Brave Girls, The Boyz, BlockB, BtoB, Astro, SF9, Infinite, or Treasure. You are now performing on May 16th with NCT, SHINee, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, Big Bang, A.C.E., Itzy, and Girls Generation. Does that ease your anxiety a bit?" I asked him.
He looked at me in shock.
"Did you really just change the schedule because I came to you telling you I'm stressing out?" he asked.
"Daniel, I've suffered from anxiety since the plane crash when I was a kid. It got worse as I got older, thanks not just to Woojin, but because of a tutor I had when I was 11. I didn't know what the hell happened, it happened so fast, I didn't even react. Suga did. He punched him out of his seat, and once he made sure the others knew why, he took me for my piano lesson, but when he saw how scared I was, he just took me home and made sure I was okay. He tried to make me see even if I didn't stop him, I didn't do anything wrong, I was too young to understand what he'd done to me. And not that long ago, my anxiety spiked again because I was ambushed by Woojin after being led into his trap by someone who claimed she could destroy my entire life," I started, sighing. "I get anxiety is an intricate game of tug of war in the mind of the person with anxiety, it's a prison sometimes, and sometimes in order to get something done, compromises need to be made. Rain has made it clear to me from the minute his fans had helped me and wanted him involved in this, that he would be available anytime I needed him for it. He's honored his fans did this for me and voiced their disappointment that he wasn't immediately involved. So, I knew he would me flexible with this, and I figured not being part of the first weekend might ease your anxiety. I'll be there at every single show. So, yes, I did just rearrange the schedule because you said you're stressing out. Did it help?"
