Unpredictable - 5SOS

Chapter 16

We were in two seperate cars, boys in one and girls in the other. Ugh just kill me now. Bianca kept bragging about how awesome her realtionship with Ashton was. The whole time I just wanted to cry.

"Awww Ashton just texted me! He said that he misses me and he even called me babe!" Bianca said for like the millionth time.

"Yeah we get it, you and Ashton and dating and he calls you babe. Big deal, Luke calls me babe and we aren't even dating." Kayla said while rolling her eyes. At that moment I really wanted to high five her. But instead I high fived her through my mind and 'accidently' missed and slapped Bianca. Oops.

"I dont fucking care about your and Luke's relationship. You guys aren't even dating. Just cause you went on a date doesn't mean you are suddenly dating. So stop trying to brag." Bianca said.

"Look who's talking." I mumbled.

"Excuse me?" she asked, knowing exactly what I said.

Kayla then grabbed a cupcake from where we stopped at at bakery to use the restroom and handed it to her, "Here have a shut the fuckupcake." 

Bianca slapped it out of her hand and it landed in Erin's lap and Erin looked like she was going to murder her. It was her favorite pair of shorts and Bianca got icing all over it.

"Bianca, just wondering, are you on your period right now?" Hannah asked.

"No. Why do you care?" she snapped.

"Oh so you're always this bitchy?" Kayla said smirking.

"Haha very funny." Bianca said sarcasticly and rolled her eyes.

We pulled over and we were at the campsite. We all got out and I pulled Kayla over.

"Finally we're away from her." I whispered.

"Yeah, she was getting on my nerves." Kayla whispered back.

Ashton then started walking towards Kayla and I so I walked away immeadiately. There was no way I could talk to him after he starts dating her.  

"Gabby!" Ashton screamed after me, causing me to walk faster. "Wait up!"

I stopped and turned to face him, "Don't talk to me. I don't want to see you. Besides, I'm not supposed to be talking to you." I mumbled the last part.

"What do you mean you're 'not supposed to talk to me'?"

"Nothing just leave me alone."

I started walking away again then he grabbed my wrist and spun me around, "Please?"

Kayla's POV

I was talking to Hannah and Erin and then I saw Luke staring at me. We made eye contact, and he smiled and that gave me butterflies in my stomach. He is just so fucking adorable. I walked away from the girls, and went to talk to Luke.

"Hey babe." He said winking at me. Whenever he called me babe it made me blush like crazy.

"Hey Hemmo." I said back regreting it immeadiately. GOSH WHY CAN'T I FLIRT?

"So I was wondering," he said looking to the ground, then to me, then to the ground, "If maybe you'd want some alone time. Just you and me. No one else."

I nodded and he grabbed my hand in a gentle way, and intertwined our fingers. He led me to some unknown place through the woods.

"Where are we going Luke?" I asked him.

"It's a suprise." he replied.

After another 5 minutes of roaming the woods, he finally stopped and turned me around. I gasped at the view. It was absoultely gorgeous. It was the lake and it was sunset.

"Luke, this is beautiful." I smiled at him.

"Shh. Just take in the view." he said putting his arm around me. I blushed and just admired how sweet this was.

I turned to face Luke to see him staring at me.

"What are you looking at?" I asked him.

"You. Has anyone told you you're beautiful?" he sad confidently. How can he even be able to make me feel this way? When he looks at me, it makes me have this fluttering feeling inside. With this, he just about killed me.

He started to get closer to me and I was honeslty freaking out inside. Was he going to kiss me? Our lips were almost touching and he stopped for a second and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. He then put his soft lips on mine. I could feel his cool lip ring on my bottom lip and it sent shivers down my spine. Our lips moved in sink we he pulled away resting his forehead on mine.

"Kayla, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked softly.

"Of course."

He smiled and started kissing me again.

Gabby's POV

Currently Ashton and I were sitting in my tent and he was bugging me about why I'm not supposed to talk to him.

"Okay you want to know why I'm not talking to you? Because your bitch of a girlfriend threatened me and said she will basically ruin my life if she finds me hanging out with you." I said all in one breath.

"My girlfriend said that? Listen I know your jealous of Bianca but this is just out of hand-"

"What? I'm not jealous of her. What's there to be jealous of? Being able to ruin peoples friendships?"

"Gabby, Bianca texted me telling me how rude you were being to her in the car. I thought you cared about my happiness."

"I do Ashton! But I know she'll just break your heart. And I didn't even talk to Bianca in the car so that is a ton of bullshit."

"I can't believe you're still lying to me Gabby! You know after all we've been through I thought you'd at least care about me."

"Ashton I do she's-"

"Just stop. I don't even know if I want to be friend with you anymore." He then got out of my tent and went to talk to Bianca.

I zipped up the tent and just cried. I sat there and cried like an idiot. I didn't want to talk to anyone. No one knew how much that pained me. It broke my heart. He doesn't even want to be fucking friends anymore. I just wanted everything to be over. I started playing with my bracelets and tried to take deep breaths to make me stop crying. It didn't work cause I heard Ashton giggle which reminded me why I was sad and I started crying even harder.

I thought Ashton and I had something special. I guess we didn't because he would've been with me instead of that bitch. 

I plugged my headphones into my phone and started listening to Taylor Swift songs. She understands my pain. I started to drift off into a deep sleep when someone screamed.

I unzipped my tent and let me just say, I was not happy with the sight.
