Chapter 3

Gabby's POV

It's been a week since I've seen those boys and lets just say, I couldn't get them out of my mind. I am a curious person and I wanted to get to know them better.

Anyways I was with my band and we were in the streets of LA setting up our instruments. We sometimes just go out and perform for people who like to watch us. So I laid down the guitar case for people to put the money in if they'd like, and I sat down on my drum box.

There was a small crowd gathering around us and some of them were fans of ours. We post YouTube videos and we have a small little fan base, which we were fine with. We tweeted out our location and I saw some of our fans wearing our merch.

"Hey guys, thank you for coming to see us perform." Kayla said.

Kayla and Hannah played guitar and Erin played the bass, while obviously I played drums.

"Okay guys so this is What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction. We hope you like it."

Then Kayla started singing.

Your insecure don't know what for
Your turning heads when you walk through the door

Then it was my turn to sing.

Everyone else in the room can see it

Ashton's POV

I was walking down the street and I stopped in my tracks immediately and I saw a huge crowd. I decided to see what was going on so I tried to make my way through. As I got further into the crowd I started to hear beautiful voices singing What Makes You Beautiful.

I chuckled a little bit because we were currently opening for One Direction, but we got a month off and are staying here in LA. So far it was amazing but I couldn't get that girl that the boys hit on out of my mind. I mean, she was gorgeous so I don't blame the boys for hitting on her, but maybe I just got a little bit jealous.

I got so deep into thought I didn't even realize the song was over. Everyone went up to give them money and I was making my way up, when I saw her.

The girl I couldn't stop thinking of for a week was sitting right in front of me. I'm not the best with girls, and I get really awkward around them so I didn't know what to do.

I stayed at the back of the crowd and waited for everyone to go away. They started to put away their instruments and that's when I decided to approach her.

"Hey, um I don't know if you remember me or not but I ran into you earlier." I said awkwardly, fumbling with my thumbs.

She probably thinks I'm crazy.

"I'm sorry have I met you before?" She asked me.

I should've known this would've happened, I mean she probably forgot about me and besides we didn't even talk we just smiled at each other.

Gabby's POV

I looked at him more intently as he still fumbled with his thumbs.

"You seem familiar though." I told him as he relaxed.

"Maybe you don't remember me without my mask and cape." He said slightly giggling. His laugh was absolutely adorable.

Then it hit me. This was the guy dressed up as Robin.

"Oh yeah! Now I remember you! You saved me from your friends." I said as he smiled.

"Yeah, I'm Ashton by the way."

He then stuck out his hand and I giggled and shook it.

"I'm Gabby."

"Well Gabby, I have to get going but we should hang out sometime. Maybe can I have your number?"

He smiled again and handed me his phone and I gave him mine. We put our numbers into our phones and gave them back to each other.

"Well it was nice meeting you Gabby. Hopefully I'll see you soon."

Ashton then walked away and then the girls ran up to me and asked me what happened. I told them everything and they made fun of me saying that I had a boyfriend.

Just then I felt my phone vibrate and looked at it to see I had a new text.

It was from Ashton.
