Chapter 12

We all went inside and squeezed on the couch together.

"What do you want to do now?" Kayla asked.

"HIDE AND SEEK!" Ashton screamed.

"Who's counting?" Luke asked.

"NOT IT!" I yelled.

"NOT IT!" Everyone else yelled expect Michael.

"Fuck." Michael muttered.

We all got up as Michael began to count to 60.

"One, two, three," Michael started.

"Let's hide together." Ashton whispered while grabbing my wrist.

He dragged me into a coat closet and quietly shut the door. There was literally no space so I was almost sitting on Ashton's lap.

"Hi." He whispered.

"Hi." I whispered back.

"Sorry it's so cramped." He said.

"It's fine." I told him.

I tried to squirm off of his lap and onto the floor. It didn't exactly work out.

"Gabby?" Ashton whispered.

"Yeah?"

"Please stop squirming. You're really not helping me right now." He whispered as I felt something pressed against my back.

I immediately stopped squirming and giggled.

"What?" He asked.

"I can feel your boner." I told him.

Even though I couldn't see him, I knew he was blushing.

"So do you like this James guy?" Ashton asked.

"I mean as a friend. He was my first friend when I moved here and he asked me out and I didn't want to be rude. Especially after he helped us so much." I admitted.

I honestly did not like James. I admit I do have feelings for Ashton but I doubt he likes me back.

"I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed our kiss." He whispered very closely to my face.

My muscles tensed and I couldn't move or say anything. I really just wanted to crash my lips onto his soft and delicate ones again.

Our lips were just barely touching and then someone opened the door making us instantly pull away.

"FOUND YOU!" Michael bragged while doing a little dance.

Ashton and I both laughed and got up. Calum and Kayla were standing beside Michael, helping Michael find people.

"All we need to do is find Luke." Michael said while walking away everyone following him.

Kayla grabbed my arm and waiting for the boys to be away.

"What was that about?" Kayla fangirled while nudging my arm.

"Nothing. He doesn't even like me." I sighed.

"Gabby! He clearly likes you!" Kayla said like it was obvious.

"I doubt it."

"Gabby did you tell him about James?"

"Maybe."

"Gabby! He probably thinks you like James!"

"I told him I don't."

"Guys aren't the brightest. Trust me he's probably very confused."

"Oh and how about Luke." I said while smirking.
