Chapter 13

It was later that night and Kayla and I decided to have a How I Met Your Mother marathon with the boys. We were all enjoying ourselves. I was cuddled up into Ashton and Kayla and Luke were doing the same. But let's just say they weren't really paying attention to the TV. Since Calum and Michael are loners, Calum was cuddling with Ketchup and Michael was cuddling the bowl of popcorn.

Ashton every so often kiss my forehead and just be adorable. Luke and Kayla were currently in a heated make out session and none of us were paying attention to them until we heard a loud thump and found them on the floor.

Just then there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." Ashton said quickly kissing my cheek and standing up.

Once Ashton opened the door we heard heavy footsteps.

"Where is she!" Someone yelled.

"Who?" Ashton asked and you could hear in his voice he was scared.

"Gabby!" He yelled again. "Wait a second, you're the guy she left me for."

Then I realized it was James.

I got up and sprinted towards Ashton to find James pushing him against the wall his fist raised like he was about to punch him.

"James!" I screamed while grabbing his arm.

"Get off of me!" He screamed as he kicked me to the floor.

He then punched Ashton multiple times very hardly. Ashton screamed in pain, as he was trying not to cry. When James loosened his grip on him Ashton fell to the floor.

"Ashton!" I screamed running over to him.

"I'm sorry Ashton. I'm so so sorry." I said while letting the tears escape my eyes.

"I'm not fucking done with him." James said.

Everyone made their way over and shocked by the sight.

Kayla whispered something to Luke as Luke ran into another room. She then whispered to Calum and Michael and then ran off into another room.

"James please stop! Ashton didn't do anything to you!" I screamed at him.

I was sitting in front of Ashton making the point that if he wanted him he'd have to go through me.

"He stole what was rightfully mine! I finally get you and he ruins everything!" James said.

"James please leave Ashton alone." I said in a small voice.

Just then police burst into the house. They grabbed James arms and handcuffed him. A police officer approached me and kneeled down to me.

"Don't worry about James, he won't be out for a long time. Also your boyfriend over there is not severely hurt so just have him ice the places has been hit." They said very nicely.

"Thank you but um he isn't my boyfriend." I said.

"Really? I just assumed-"

"I mean we're friends for now."

He smiled and patted my shoulder and helped me up.

"I just want to let you know I ship you two." He said and then left.

I just stood there like an idiot processing what he just said.

"Gabby?" Ashton said in pain.

"Yes Ashton?" I said running to his side and grabbing his hand.

"Can you carry me to my room?" Ashton asked.

I let go of his hand and he just looked at me confused.

"I'm tiny compared to you. How am I supposed to pick you up?" I said.

He sighed and grabbed my hand again.

"Then help me up."

I stood up and helped him walk. He had his arm wrapped around me and used me for support. I helped him on the couch and ran to the kitchen to get a ice pack. I handed it to him and he put it on his jawline.

"Again I am so sorry-"

"Gabby it's not your fault! You don't need to apologize okay? I few bruises never killed anyone." Ashton says.

"I know." I sighed.

"Gabby I like you. Like a lot. And now he's not here to hold us back."

He smiled and I blushed.

"I like you a lot too Ashton."

I then kissed him. It was full of passion and the way our lips moved to together sent shiver down my spine.

He pulled away and smirked.

"What?" I asked him.

"Nothing."

I gave up and pulled Ashton into another kiss.

I felt as when I kissed Ashton I didn't have a care in the world. It felt as if nothing else mattered besides me and him.

Kayla's POV

"Well that happened." I said crashing onto Luke's bed.

"Yep." He said plopping next to me.

"So what about our date?" I asked him.

"I wanted to take you out on Friday and we can just go to the beach and hang out there."

"Sounds fun." I said pecking his cheek and getting under the covers.

He got in next to me and pecked my lips.

I smiled as we both drifted off into sleep.

Gabby's POV

I woke up cuddled next to Ashton. He looked adorable when he was sleeping. I smiled and pecked his lips to wake him up.

He opened his eyes a little before smiling and opening them completely. He pulled me on top of his lap and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Have I told you that you are beautiful?" Ashton said.

I blushed a little then the moment got ruined because someone was calling me. I looked at the Caller ID and saw it was Hannah.

I picked up the phone and tried to not stare at Ashton.

"Hello?" I said.

"Gabby! Where are you and Kayla?" She asked worriedly.

"We are at a friends."

"For two days!"

"Yeah."

"What am I going to do with you guys."

"Well you and Erin can come over too."

"Okay we are on our way."

I hung up and sent Hannah their address.

"I invited some of friends and I think they would get along with Calum and Michael." I told Ashton.

"Good they were started to creep me out. I mean I was starting to worry Calum was into Ketchup." He said.

"I couldn't blame him Ketchup is a very attractive plastic dog."

Ashton laughed and put his arm around me and we just talked about our interests.
