(a. The Level One to Nusquam Ubica's Tourist Guide)
Now in Nusquam Ubica, the landscape is quite mountainous, and we're back to the usual medieval styled-towns that do resemble Celetraga, despite being far away, like, really far from there, and the trio is walking around the town square.
"Now where do we stay in case that we got to sleep?" says Sleepless, who then asks a passerby, Likely a tourist, as he doesn't look like he isn't from here, and seems to differ from the rest of the strangers: "Alright, you know any great places where can I stay?"
"There's a tavern over there." Said the man, who then points to the tavern a few blocks away from the center of the square.
"Thanks, d—" Sleepless thanks the man, with a interrupted name-calling being interrupted by Hollis, which he said to her "Stop that, Sleepless.", the man briefly looks back for a bit, looking pissed off, then goes back to his business soon after.
"You're a rude one, Sleepless." Hollis comments on Sleepless' habit of being a rude person, Sure, it's the first time that happened so far, but we expect things to change soon, "Don't worry about that, that's normal, it's me and I'm taller than you." Sleepless responds to Hollis' worry about her rude interactions, which left Hollis with an annoyed face, and Greg isn't really amused.
Now in the tavern, Greg opens the door to the very place, with Hollis and Sleepless following him, the people in the tavern seems to have their eyes set on Sleepless, which she brings up with an annoyed look to the bystanders.
Now that the trio has reached the tavernkeeper's counter, "Hello, how can I help you-" the tavernkeeper gets interrupted by Sleepless, "Yes, can you stop these men from looking at me? I don't like them, they're unattractive strangers."
"Alright, we'll get to that soon, but how long do you want to stay?"
"A week."
"How many rooms?"
"Two."
"2 gold and 10 silvers."
Sleepless then brings out her money-bag, gives him the money, and the rooms are available for them.
"Thank you, now here are your keys." The tavern-keeper gives the keys to Sleepless, and then points to Greg, "You are Greg, right?", He nods.
"Well, then, come inside the door, your friends want to meet you over there.", Greg then enters the door next to the tavern-keeper, which is normally restricted to other people, "Forget about the onlookers, we're having a party tonight." Sleepless said to the tavern-keeper quietly.
(b. We Do Wish To Know You Once Again)
The door seems to lead to a place that looks like a kitchen, however, Wright is visible, waiting at a counter, with a leather suitcase placed on there — How did he get here?
Wright is dressed rather formal, similar to Greg's suit, but except that Wright wears a white suit with a black shirt.
Greg then walks up to him, "Hello, Greg, long time no see!" Wright greets him, and then gives him a hug, "Quiet and stoic than ever, but I appeared here somehow, Anyways, I have brought myself a way to contact our friends." He then opens the suitcase, creating a portal-like screen, and in the screen, there's Andreo.
"Hello, Wright." Said Andreo, "and is that- My goodness, I cannot believe it, Greg is still alive! I'm amazed."
"Yes, he's alive and well, and we got these fancy clothes, somehow!"
"I do think that looks very good, very formal, but anyways, while both of you may be behind a tavern right now, but Wright will be the line to contact me, and may the lady of Segradia protect both of you on your journey, And now, I must go."
Wright closes the suitcase, "Well at least that you are safe and sound, but I also heard that you are looking for a criminal causing havoc around in a city you were put in along with somebody." Wright then gives an envelope to Greg, "Give the investigator this, it will help the case."
The envelope seemed to be signed with the name "Mellanby", Wright then leaves the tavern by a door near to him, and Greg keeps the envelope in his pocket.
(c. The Level Two to Nusquam Ubica's Tourist Guide: Yes, Sleep)
Greg then leaves the tavern backdoors, and goes to in front of the tavern keep's counter, "Best if you don't spread the information with those blokes, very rude." The keep says.
And so, Greg goes up the stairs to the rooms, and finds Sleepless leaning on the wall, "Here's your key." She then throws a key to his room to Greg, which he responds by giving her the envelope that Wright gave him during the meeting — Sleepless checks it, and goes back to her room.
Now with the key, he opens the door and checks the room: It's a basic room with wood floor and stone walls, and there's two beds, a desk in between the gap, and a stand hanger. There is also a window that is, as of now, evening, and Greg, being rather tired from the train incident, decides to put his bag near the desk and hang his suit jacket on the stand hanger, and prepare for sleep.
Now this is the dream, yes?
Everything is still white, until it fades in that Greg is sitting on a comfortable armchair, and then the opposite armchair fades in, along with a man sitting on it, He is dressed in a suit, along with wearing a top hat, It's likely that he may have saw the man before in a previous dream.
"Greetings, Greg, we have found your performance to be on a satisfactory level, and my friends and I are impressed, but not yet convinced enough that you are suitable for the service, but Wright seemed to be contributing to your and your friends' objective, he may know of your goals and is trying to bring a helping hand, I'm fine with it, the man you're looking for is an unbeliever, and it is justified from my morals that I do not see any reason for the unbelievers to exist according to us, including to my views. Sweet dreams, though."
