(Content warning, again?: Violence around the end.)

Greg finally reaches the warehouse — There is nobody guarding the building, and it looks quite worn-up, and seems to be located in-between two buildings, not sure what they're supposed to be, but that's not important, as the warehouse is the more important focus instead of those.

Now, inside the warehouse, it is mostly empty aside from a few crates, but he might check them later, as finding Mellanby is the current top priority. The warehouse seems to have a stair leading to a higher floor, which has a hallway with series of doors, and the stair to the next floor seems to be broken and unusable, despite the building looking like it's got three floors.

Greg then turns back to go down the stairs, but there's slimy sounds from behind — there's suddenly liquid coming down the stairs and seems to be slowly going to Greg, and it's not water, it looked something like snake scales, Greg then started walking slowly — and the liquid stopped moving, and something is rising up from it.

It resembled a man in black, but he's completely black and his skin looks like it's plastic, and he's got no bag — Slightly off from what the family man described earlier, but close enough.

Now he's just standing there, waiting for Greg to make a move, Greg then takes a single step back, and the scales moved another inch, but when he took a step further, the scales moved back — He could possibly exploit this! He then moved further to the point the scales moved back into the stairs, but except for the man, which still stands still, as a plastic mannequin. His priority at this point is to maybe escape, but he heard footsteps from downstairs and the man is suddenly gone, so it's best for him to start taking caution.

Greg walked down the stairs slowly, and found the man in the middle of the room, standing and completely still, no movement or frets coming from him, Greg, however, still un-convinced, still stands on the step from the floor, and still stoic despite the pressure he's going through right now, and there's this weird "....sssss..." sound coming from behind him: The scales are coming from the step, and it grabbed him; the man just turned to him, which it's head cracked open to transform into an andromorphic snake he has seen earlier — it's him.

"Hello, Greg, my name is Nehebkau, and I can't believe you've been looking here." It says, "Nice hat this man has, but I am not the murderer that you and your friends has been looking for, I'm just a henchman for the guy you're chasing to, oh, and I forgot to say something important: Time to die."

The scales flipped Greg over and brought him to the mouth of Nehebkau — It hasn't grappled his arms, so he has the upper hand to punch its snake eyes, "Oh, what the- You're not supposed to do that!" It says in an angry voice, and the scales release Greg's legs, allowing him to run to a door — He opens it, and it's a hallway.

"Come on, it's not fair, I am supposed to bite you!" It said angrily, "Just play along to the script, you idiot!" The scales then follow him, even when he closed the door, it sinks through the gap beneath it, He saw it, and he reached a right turn which leads to an elevator and in there, there is a lead pipe placed there, which Greg picks up to defend himself from the snake scales, which surprisingly, does not climb up the elevator.

"Ding." Rang the bell when it reached the top floor of the building, which he puts it to go down while he jumps out of it safe and sound while its doors were open, and the snake scales did climb up the elevator, so Greg runs up another stair to the roof of the storehouse — "Alright, Greg, it's both of us." Said the snake as it molds up from the scales to approach Greg, "You can have your own tools, it's my weakness, but I am supposed to provoke a fair fight." An arm comes out from its chest, which Greg manages to miss, and hits it with the pipe. Nehebkau then grunts in pain from having its animated scales hit by a lead pipe. Annoyed, he grappled Greg's legs, causing him to lose grip of his trusty pipe, "I'm not letting that happen again, you already ruined one of my eyes, so it's eye to eye now." Nehebkau says as he tightens his grip on Greg's legs, causing him to grunt in pain, in response to that, he once again punches Nehebkau's other eye, causing to lose grip on Greg, "Not again!" it says, now covering its eyes, standing as it screamed and cried in pain, giving Greg an advantage because of how hammy and an idiot Nehebkau is.

Taking on his advantage, Greg then stands up and slowly walks to get his lead pipe, despite the pain he suffered from the snake-scale grab, but then, Greg managed to pick up his pipe before he got pulled by one of Nehebkau's snake-scales, but considering how weakened it is, Greg manages to break free from it by beating it with the pipe, which only helps to its misery it is going through after getting its eyes punched, but do snakes get black eyes?

And now, Greg, looks down at Nehebkau as it suffers from eye pain, Not wanting to waste further time, as it is currently afternoon right now, he hits it with the lead pipe — Smack, bang and such sound effects from snake-beating, not counting cries from the snake as it suffers for doing dumb moves and having the enemy exploit the weaknesses and finally, the cries gradually faded away with one more cry, before dying. Really disproportionate for making dumb moves and being the enemy of the day.

There's footsteps coming from the stairs and coming up here is Hollis, "Greg is here!" he said, possibly Sleepless is with him, "How are you doi-" his cheerful look is quickly shattered by seeing Greg sitting with his injured legs at Nehebkau's remains, "...what?" Not wanting to interfere with his works, he decides to go back to check on Sleepless, which she comes some time later to check on Greg.

"Hey, Greg, great job you did there, you were a lot better than I thought." She says to Greg, which he replies with silence.

"Really badass, I didn't knew Hollis has to see this, but I'm really impressed by your beat up of that snake." says Sleepless, which she pats Greg on one of his shoulders, Having noticed that the snake's body is softly shaking, she then tries to turn over the snake's body that is lying on it's stomach, which she along with Greg's help, manages to do.

It's stomach seems to be cut open, which reveals a mummified body hidden inside the body, covered in some shiny but sticky liquid, which caused Sleepless to be uncomfortable when she was bringing the body out, and complained about her dress being ruined by it.

However, the mummy seemed to open by itself without any cutting, just unraveled from head to toe without any assistance from anyone and the person inside it looks like a woman holding a satchel bag likely filled with medical supplies while being in a desert robe complete with hair covering — Who is this?

She then woke up quite quickly, gasping for air and looking at surroundings; She's a fish out of the water.

"Where am I?" She says, in a worried tone.

"Nusquam Ubica." Sleepless says.

"Nusquam what? This isn't the place I was going to, I remember-"

Sleepless cuts her off, "We'll worry about that later, now we need to get you to safety, now can you walk?"

The woman proves her point by standing up, "That's great." Sleepless speaks, "I know a place where you can rest for the day."

The party then went back to the tavern with the stranger, despite Hollis being horrified by the scene, although he may have seen incidents similar to that, and the stranger trying to comfort Hollis. Thankfully, he is not horrified for that long, though.

Now at the tavern, the party then haves their lunch, with some talks happening during the meals, During the talks, the stranger revealed her name as Iaret, and that she was a part of travelers as a medic, but they're likely gone, eaten by the snakes or escaped into nowhere. None of the party seems to understand her, as they never went there, especially Greg, who is from the real world and haven't traveled to another country in yet.

Now, after lunch, Iaret noticed that Greg was struggling with his walking, so she volunteered to help him out. Although not yet convinced, Sleepless let's her have a go at it.

Now in the bedroom, Greg is lying down at his bed but heard some knocks from outside — he lets Iaret in, and allowed her to treat his wounds from the fight, including getting an ice pack on his legs.

"I'd like to thank you for saving me from the snake, Greg." Iaret says to Greg, but still got nothing in response. Confused, she then leaves his room.

During at this time, Greg is quite tired, and decides to have a nap.
