You nervously fiddled with the fabric flowers on the strap of your dress. You look at yourself in the mirror.

It was you. Just in a dress. The dress was long and flowy. It also covered you quite well, which was a great score! The dress was a light yellow with flower lace around the torso.

You and your best friend Avocado were going to a gala. For some reason everyone in town was invited. You assumed quite a lot of people were gonna go. Internally you wanted to go but you also didn't want to be around so many people. ThAt's whY yoU anD YouR bEstIe aRe gOinG toGetHer! You're both iN iT toGetEr!

You heard a knock on the bathroom door.

"(Y/N), you okay in there?" You heard Avocado say. She sounded slightly concerned. "If you don't wanna go we can both just stay here."

You open the bathroom door and face your bestie. "What no, I'm okay. We can go." You said. You didn't want to turn down such a big thing like this.

Avocado's jaw dropped. "Woah. You're so pRETTYYYY!!!" Avocado slightly bounced happily.

Your cheeks warmed a bit flattered. "Ehehehe- thanks bestie." You said and gripped your skirt a bit. You glanced down at Avocado's dress. She was wearing a similar dress to yours. (You both wanted to match.) Except that hers was a light pastel green to match her hair better. "Wawawa!! You're so pretty tooo!!"

Avocado made some little squeal. "We should go now!" Avocado's big fluffy paw grabbed your hand carefully and she started to the door. You laugh at her and stumble a bit behind her.

You and Avocado stood awkwardly next to each other. "What do we do now?" You said.

You guys were in a HUGE room. The ceiling was tall above your heads. The walls were elegantly decorated as well as everything else.

You and Avocado stood by a wall off to the side, not knowing what to do. There were many people in the room already and talking to each other. You had your arms crossed across your chest, and your practically squeezed at yourself.

"Uhhh any idea on what to do-" Avocado said looking around the large ball room. "Should we raid the food table?" She suggested.

You fought a laugh. "I don't think we should, we should leave some for other people." You said.

Avocados face fell. "It's free food. It's for everyone here-"

"Fine." You gave in and gave a sigh.

The crowd of people went quiet suddenly, which caught yours and Avocado's attention. "Or not-" Avocado whispered to you quietly.

You looked around to see the two twin princes standing beside each other on the raised platform.

"Prince Dream and his Twin brother Nightmare." Some announcer said. (No body knows the dude. Poor just gets the title of 'announcer.')
